Laser - check. Triggertrap V1 - check. Camera - check. All I need now is a flashgun that isn't from the 70s and I'll be sorted! Taken a few test shots tonight, reaction time is hilariously fast. Problem is flash duration is quite long, so the image is blurry. Need to get a modern flash where I can dial in the flash power (the one I have right now is just full power!) and take it right down to get some brisk flash durations.

Just across the valley is a 1198 feet mountain which is known locally as either Breiden Hill or Rodney's Pillar, mainly because at the top of the mountain sits a 100 foot stone pillar that had been built in honour of Admiral Rodney (an admiral from 1700's who won a battle). Most of the mountain however has been taken over by a quarry company which has been at the base for the last 25 or so years.

Around 1/2 mile from the base of the mountain used to be a World War 2 radio station. It had 4x 700 feet tall masts, 3x 600 feet tall towers, 4-5 buildings ranging from 3 radio/computer blocks, generator block, mess hall/block, offices, garage/workshop block and sleeping quarters. Now unfortinutly the station has been overrun by a farmer and his cows and the only bits left (only just) standing are the buildings which are open to who ever wants to go around to take a look. Today I wasn't lucky enough to go inside because I wasn't willing to leave my motorcycle unnatended in the middle of nowhere.
