Losi 5/ 30dnt /rovan slt

Recommended Posts

Hi all got my hands on what started life as a 30dnt but had a buggy conversion with the rovan slt buggy chassis etc , but has losi 5t shocks and diffs as far as I'm aware ,, anyways its got a zenoah g320 in at the mo and upon buying a couple of shells (mcd and losi 5 they wont fit without lots of chopping for air filter , fuel tank cap and surprisingly throttle servo so I plan to convert it to brushless ,, I've got a near new  8s arrma sat here with a hobbywing 8s esc and 1090 kv motor so I was thinking to use this system ?? I know ideally I could do with a lower kv motor but would this 1090 be use able for the mean time and what sort of speeds could I expect 🤔  the motor has duall fans on to keep temps down a bit ?

Also what's a zen g320  stacks of compression with enclosed clutch carrier for a 5t , airfilter, carb and mad max tuned pipe oh and a switchblade killswitch ,, cheers in advance

At least this

Or

Second one can go up to 12s although if that was the case you might be better of with the 650kv version

Nothing personal against other brands but I like the Hobbywing stuff 😁
