I've not touched anything from purchase so assumed it would be tuned already from manufacturer. Now it won't run on idle, keeps cutting out. I did the first four heat 15 min heat periods on idle then ran it for 15 mins on quarter power but since bringing it home it won't stay running on idle even though I've not adjusted anything. mark35 Posted October 26, 2020 Share Posted October 26, 2020 The settings I give a factory settings there is no perfect settings I can give as there are so many variations but they won't be far from factory, to keep it running turn the idle screw in. Ive replaced the sparkplug with an NGK CMR7H, it's sparking but it just won't fire up. Should i buy a new lead that goes from coil to sparkplug and if so where do i get one from? Andy6214 Posted October 29, 2020 Author Share Posted October 29, 2020 When i took the plug cap off for the first time the copper spring part that sits on the sparkplug came out of the cap itself. I stuck the spike back in the hole on the cable and fed it back into the cap and according to tutorial i watched I've fixed it. The cap goes on the sparkplug just fine now.
