I'm looking at getting one in the next few weeks and want to know what they are like! I have experience in large scale cars, I have a HobbyPro Super Chief ( for my sins it's a bit of a dog!! ) Any info would be a great help!!!! Saunders76 Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Ive got one... Its great !! And a relatively "cheap" way to get into large scale. Not as robust as a 5ive, but has done me well so far. Only thing ive HAD to replace was the steering servo. Otherwise everything else has lasted well. Done a few upgrades (alloy hubs, alloy chassis braces, different wheels and tyres etc) If you can stretch to a 5ive.... Go for it, if not... DBXL's are great. DON Karlos Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 I've also got one great little car just check the air filter when new most have to much oil in them! And you might want to change shock oil other then that there good to go... Mine can hold its own against baja's and mavericks .
