Car Headunit, can I bridge the rear speaker outputs?

Apperently not possible unless the sub is 8ohm, which most car subs arent.

Im just going to wire in this active sub iv bought, a bit more hassle because as il have to remove it a few months down the line but it will sound so much better.

DO u know what impedance the head unit can handle ? What impedance the speakers are ?

Other option would be a crossover, though have no idea how they would fair with ur active sub.

The question is do we know to much about this ! When i had my first car, I just bridged the speaker and it caused no problem to the old Panasonic head unit in it......now i think impedance !
