Vinyl wrap

Anybody used vinyl wrap and had any Luck? I am thinking of covering tamiya mini Cooper or pick up.have seen carbon wrap on ebay and looks cool.

Its very good stuff, ive used it for 2yrs but these days i think everyone's using it for all kinds of items.

Shop around on ebay tho bcos some sellers charge much much less than others.

Thanks for your replies.i tend to buy beat up mini Cooper or mini pick up shells on ebay and paint on the outside. This looks a good alternative.i like the idea that if it wrinkles you can pull it of and try again.

Its very good mate. I've used it to recover an old set of draws in my daughters room. The mrs glossed them badly then i saved the day with pink and purple wrap they look great now.

Just the draw faces mind covering the lot would cost abit lol.

I've used vinyl wrap for years on car interiors, roofs, bonnets etc with great results.

 

I would only buy the more expensive 3M Hexis wrap as the cheaper stuff tends not to be as flexible, or hold it's shape.

 

Wrapping complex areas requires a lot of heat and once the wrap is in position you have to heat it further so that it changes it's form and stays put.
