WJpowertech
Does anyone know if these are any good.i only have Tamiya (limited) experience. There's a nice looking mustang on modelsport. Amongst he spec listing it say 540 type motor so I assume you can hop these things up in a similar way to Tamiya?
the watchman
Vaterra in genral imo are brilliant, i have the ascender, ive had a uno, a glamis fear and they have all been exellent, i sold the glamis fear to my mate who still uses and abuses it and it takes a absolute pounding and just shakes it off and carries on, there brilliant quality, with good specs and prices, highly recomended by me. WJpowertech
Are there many parts for them in your experience?
the watchman
Parts are not always in stock, but its horrizon hobby so most model shops can order them in for you, normaly a couple of days max.
TurboFurball
I have the Mustang, it knocks the bottom half of Tamiya's model range into the weeds easily - a lot of car for the money! There's quite a few hop-up parts available, but TBH it doesn't *need* anything. The electrics are upgradeable, the ESC can cope with brushless, the only things thats different is the battery connector (for which I just got a few Deans connectors off ebay, a few mins with a soldering iron will fix it!) TurboFurball
If your Mondeo is a stock-ish FF01, then prepare to be surprised (I have a FF01 Clio, it feels terribly pedestrian now)
