Si Coe
Costs a lot more that way though. TBH the Vantage Pro is a bit of an oddity - it is after all still a Vantage, just with a fancy chassis. Its not the high end race car it pretends to be. Its a good spec for the price, but you can have just as much fun for less with the regular Vantage.
Jernst20
If you open to second hand have a look on the 4 sales section of this forum and if there is anything you like then send us a link to what it is?
Jernst20
Just seen the rest of the messages! Just go for the vantage brushed and then you can upgrade it to brushless with more power than what comes with the stock brushless setup. bearsdad71
Thanks everyone i guess the pro would be the ideal but as i'm a heavy handed muppet i think ill go for the brushed and up my skill level then upgrade I have checked the for sale section and the oople sales and buggies are a bit thin on the ground unless i buy a roller so i think i'll just order a vantage from modelsports as cant knock their service after buying my sons crawler off them recently

bearsdad71
Kyosho Kobra? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/kyosho-ep-kobra-2.4ghz-buggy-readyset/rc-car-products/367360 Looks a bargain Any thoughts - or a Losi 8 i know the Losi is smaller but i know how tough they are
Si Coe
The Kobra is pretty good for the money, but Kyosho spares can be hard to get hold of and very expensive. The Losi Mini-8T is actually not a lot smaller than the Vantage or Kobra. In fact it takes the same sized wheels and can run on the same terrain.

brit_bulldog
The Kobra is ok but as well as all the cars you mention its very much a beginner car. Kyosho spares are easy to get from Modelsport and JE Models plus plenty of dealers around. I think if you want a car close to a full blown Pro that will hold up on the track then the Durango is ok.
