Havnt updated in a few days

got the front and rear glass in eventually with zero crazing! ..found out that these special anti crazing glues for windows etc on models..is just over priced PVA glue..tad naughty..but used PVA and zero issues though took forever to get it to set n hold properly :/

Also just ordered my decals and some ignition wire for the engine.

Just need to get a hold of some tamiya smoke now but hobbycraft didnt have any when i went last time :( ..will ring em tomorrow.

hobbycraft sucks :| ended up having to order tamiya x19 smoke so that will come probably wednesday

my decals and ignition wire come tomorrow so can get some recaro love on the seats, that will look cool, not sure when the rest of the engine parts will arrive but will glue on the ignition wire anyway.

yup  was a bit apprehensive as i know resin parts can need a lot of extra work

but thankfully its all been done for me, just need to get rid of a seam line here n there and sand the mounting points a bit flatter

hello sir would you like some engine with that turbo O_O

jesus lmao

i have a feeling this aint gonna fit in the engine bay any more rofl

not finished painting yet, also used a bit of a needle cap where the filter is to create a more realistic filter mount rather than slapping it on the face of the turbo.

intercooler fits nice as well, ideal for a V mount like this

Awwww yea!

you know when you envision something and then you try it and it actually comes to light how you want it? yea tis a first for me but im so thrilled.

now to paint the intercooler and then scratch build the pipe work!

..oh and the engine dont fit in the bay any more BUT it isnt as bad as i was expecting, bit of shaving material out the way and it will be fine :D

one intercooler pipe done and probably the hardest, cant finish it obviously until the engine is mounted.

what a pain though, had to use 5 minute jb weld which is amazing but had a right job holding it in place for the time required..with my shakes as well lmao

to create the more realistic outlet i used again a cut off from a needle plastic cover sheath thing.

painted the top and bottom half chrome silver and a little bit of the pipe sitting inside black
