Oh How Original
I do have one question... Why do touring cars always have such weird looking air filters? Or at least, weird compared to what I'm used to seeing.

I can see what you mean but almost everyone that races touring cars uses air filters that are of a similar shape!
supersavage
Looks great. I'd like to have a go at racing large scale touring cars but can't afford it, at least not without selling my 5ive and I don't really want to do that. Also the nearest track to me is a bit too far away.
JayAVFC
A real shame that the tracks are to far away maybe an off-road track to race you losi
supersavage
I've been racing my losi in the large scale nats for a couple of years (this year will be my third season) :0. I live in Leicester and more or less in the middle of two good tracks NDOR and Nene valley raceway which are about 45mins away depending on traffic. I think the nearest on road track to me is about 1:30-2 hours away.
PurcyP
Lovely bit of kit. I can really appreciate the engineering of em. What boggles me though is how do the cars have any grip, I've felt tyres and their rock solid!
The Dark Knight
Wow, what a lovely looking bit of kit! Must be awesome racing these!!
Pistonhead
Awesome bit of kit that bud. If i was ever to get into racing on road, it'd have to be largescale because of the scale looks alone lol. Shame there aren't any tracks in cornwall that i know of that run 1:5.,,

It has been confirmed that i will be a driver for maximum service racing in the 2015 season driving the new RS5 car when it is released, which is great news, i will be stocking the parts in England and attend all national races and club at Brookland so the will be support in england, so far we have converted three drivers to buy an RS5 and they love it and have no plans of changing!
The Dark Knight
I've been really tempted to get one of those chargers myself, a couple guys at the club run them and really happy with them. Congrats on your sponsorship, great news! I presume that's a 1/5 truck in the photo? Bet you they're a hoot to race?

Hi, yes the charger/tyre warmer combo has been great to me and i got it a bit cheaper on ebay alough they were still brand new in box! Yes that is a truck to the left but it isn't me racing it that was just in free practice before raceday starts, we have around 5 or 6 of them at the club now, they are an up and coming class and only started back up again this year. The one i am most looking forward to is the return of F1 and there is 5 ready to race and a few tempted including myself. Just have a look at this beauty of a car, i think the best looking rc car ever made.... The pictures dont do it justice! It looks amazing in person! It's almost full carbon Edited August 27, 2014 by JayAVFC
