How not to melt diff cases ?

i am now on my 3rd set of dif cases for my RC8Te in the last year is there any way to stop me melting them or can you get alloy ones because when they melt i also end up stripping half the gears ??

 

 

forgot to say only had it out 6 times in the last year also

Is it shimmed too tightly?

Everything will expand at slightly different rates depending on its material, so if its set on the tight side of ok, it might get tighter and cause the diffs to heat up even faster.

Have a look and or send him a mail.

 

I know Mydoddy asked nicely to get Thunder tiger G3 series diff made up and the whole world is thankful,. well the G3 owners anyways :lol:

 

Though if he is willing to make em, I would definitely provide him with the stock original part ;)
