loftuz
I'm trying to put my lipo in to storage till next week. Can anyone tell me if these figures look about right? It's been on for nearly 1 hour now and nothing seems to change? First time with any sort of lipo so any help would be great?
jpbp200
I posted about the same issue this morning! see here http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/191804-storage-charging-takes-2-hours-after-a-run/. Seems like it is normal behaviour.....
Tug
Looks like it's discharging at 0.1 Amps, it'll take hours. Just drive the car to get the voltage down.
jpbp200
It's CHARGING at 0.1A. The voltage is 12.39. It should stop at 12.4. However as per my previous thread it takes 2 hours.
Tug
Weird. What connectors are you using?
mudball
Storage charging my lipos takes forever as well. Max it will allow me to storage charge at is 1amp, but when started falls to 0.1 or 0.2 straight away.. Seems to be the norm. I just get on with cleaning while it's charging. jayuk022002
Just out of interest how do you know it charging and not discharging? Storage charge should be about 11.4v. If thats 12.39v its not far off full so would be dishcarging
Samuran
I agree with Jay. 3x3.8v = 11.4v for storage...
