stretch
let us know how you get on with it, looking at the position og the balance board connectors looks like most boards won't sit on a flat surface but be up in the air? hope you can't adjust the charge rate via the knobs when charging. Bigjimknickers
Yea maybe I'll need a few extended balance leads I see what you mean. Pic will follow ;-)
rushboy2004
I have the passport ultra duo 200w dual charger and it is a very nice piece of kit. Fans can be a bit loud when charging 4s and larger cells. I so prefer a charger I can just plug straight in to a plug socket with no separate PSU

Looks good comes with all the right gear, I just need xt90 connectors on it now!
Bigjimknickers
Ok just plugged my 4mm banana leads in with my XT90 & checked it all over, works fantastic. However when I switched it to LiFe to charge my rx pack it has a battery connection error. It's connected correctly.. Hmm.
atom3624
Time to give Horizon a call. I did once, and were very helpful. Certainly looks a nice bit of kit. Al.

Totally my fault, the life pack had ran down too far & it was only registering as a 1s pack, I boosted it with my ac6 pro & it's back up again. It's certainly well made this thing, it weighs a tonne! Bigjimknickers
Used this first thing to get my flux batteries ready for a quick bash, exactly what I wanted, banged 4 2s in & charged them in no time! Great charger, I'm very happy with it, saves me lots of time as a busy father of 4 time is of the essence !
stretch
nice one, does it prevent you from adjusting the rate via the knob when charging ie safety feature? any idea what the discharge rate is?

Bigjimknickers
nice one, does it prevent you from adjusting the rate via the knob when charging ie safety feature? any idea what the discharge rate is? I haven't tried to adjust the knob during charging, I'm a little to scared to! It doesn't look like it discharges batteries, not a problem for me as I never use that feature anyway, its been great so far.
