Stealth mounts?

I'm looking at a stealth mount on fleabay, for 1/10 drift car.

Just wondering if different cars will need different front and rear stand distances or if 1/10 will work all the way round??

I just got my fitted and it looks like they will fit most of 1/10 cars. Comes whit different sizes spacers.

That's the exact stealth mount I was looking at.

Might just buy it an try. I've got a maverick dc and for some reason maverick seem to be awkward with everything lol.

The only thing I didn't like is that sticky type. It's not holding body strong enough. I ordered some A and B magnetic strips. I hope they will do the job.

I just trim the body posts right down and have a spare set if i get a new shell, those stealth ones dont look very reliable but i spose if your driving on a track, shouldnt have any bumps to throw it off.

I think whit this modification it's need to be bulletproof and when using side A and side B together this magnetic tape will always attract perfectly in line with itself.

I agree with you both. They don't look 100% reliable. I've bought them anyway might as well give them a try. I'll let you know how I get on when they turn up.

ive used those mounts before, very solid esp if you use strong 3m duel lock velcro. also thread lock is your friend lol

the kit is secured by m3 grub screws/bolts they rattle out easily if you don't thread lock them
