Converting a HB D8 to a Vorza flux

Hi everyone.

Hopefully I will have a HB D8 soon and I want to convert it to electric however I am unsure of what I'll need other than the obvious. Here are the things I can think of:-

Brushless motor

ESC

Motor Mount

Battery Tray.

Other than that I'm unsure of what else or is there even anything else?

Also could you guys give me some suggestions as to which esc/motor combo would be best for the buggy? I want to run 2x2S lipos

I did it quite a lot cheeper.

Just fount a batterytray and motormount for the D8 conversion and it runs fine.

A motor between 1900 and 2200 kv will suit it best for the 4 cell batt.

A 150 Amp ESC from hobbyking or a Xerun 150a.

No need for extra parts. Maybe just a pinion 16-17t for a 1900kv motor

the tekno chassis is a lot lighter and stronger than stock for 4s you want 2600kv not 1900kv

I have almost the same setup with stock chassis and my 1900kv motor is perfect for the tracks i drive on and can follow the nitros without any loss in speed.

My Ve8 is also running 1900kv and so are most of the racers in DK when running 4S.
