As I've changed the shell and modified the length of the links , a bog standard kit may not do

It started as a honcho and is now mor like a dingo length I do believe

Basically I'm after a kit to convert if to 4 link as its on a Y 3 at the moment

And links may need shortening

I'll be undertaking the same challenge soon once I get my new body shell. There's not really a simple answer to your question as there are a quite a few variable.

I have the Dingo builders kit which has a wheelbase of 11.4", your Honcho has a wheelbase of 12.3".

I have converted my Dingo to 4 link using the extra parts that came with the kit. The kit came with alloy links (Dingo) and longer plastic links which I'm currently using and has increased my wheel base to approx. 12".

I'll be keeping this set-up until my new body shell arrives and then work out which length of links to use. If possible, you want to have the rear links a bit longer than the front links.

From the research I've carried out, your lower links need to be approx. 5-10mm longer than the upper links.

Since you're converting to 4 link, it's also worth looking at the Level3 SCX10 centre mount, part number: scx-14 LCLM

Hope that helps you out a bit.

Did you get the 3 to 4 link part that goes on the axle ? If so where did you get it from ?

Which SCX10 do you have? I have the Dingo builders kit which comes with all the parts to convert it to 4 link but this also increases the wheelbase to approx 12".

I've purchased a couple of these 4 link mounts to use instead of the kit plastic ones. They only arrived today so not fitted them yet.

Not sure as to which scx10 I have as it had a d90 body on it, it has metal lower links and the upper links are the Y plastic piece.

My wheel base is just over 11", if I was to put them mounts on would I loose the rear mount for the servo ?

With the D90 body your links will be shorter. All SCX10 kits are pretty much the same, it's the links which differs.

You wouldn't loose the rear mount for the servo with those mounts. I'll fit one tonight and double check, I can post a photo once fitted if you wish?
