Picked up my new war bird today, after playing hours on the sims and abit of field experience with powered gliders i decided it was time for the deep end so i bought this.

Problem is i dont know alot about 2.4ghz systems and how they work so i wondered if i could use either these from my blade cx2 heli:

Or these from my lama:

If it doesnt work like that then i will have to get another rx and tx

Also im new to lipo so i do need a couple plus a charger, i was told to get 3s 1800 to 2200 i think it was, i will post this in the wanted section aswell.

All help and advice is very much appreciated :)

LP5DSM coupled with the spektrum reciever will work.

its a 5vhannel handset and a 6 channel reciever but that does not matter.

the craft requires 4-5 channels

throttle (main control )

aerilon ( main control )

elevator (main control )

rudder( main control )

Flaps (main and/or secondary control) ( you may find the aerilon is split into 4 units, two for banking, and two close to the fuselarge, these are flaps and extend down to produce more lift at slower speed

mainly used for short takeoff and as landing flaps allowing a slow final decent at a set rate and speed )

thanks for the help guys

ahh i didnt think of the range, that might become an issue as 100m is not really that far for a plane is it.....

i guess i will need a second hand spektrum then?

if i get a spektrum tx will it work at a better range coupled with the spektrum rx i already have or will i need both rx and tx?
