So i was in the lift the other day and came across this box among my stuff

i opened it up and to my surprise its seems like i have a old buggy of some sort and a assortment of various complete rear ends

I did a google and it seems like its a mardave meteor which by the looks of it wont need a lot of work to get running hopefully  , it looks to be in good nick just abit of dust here and there , the wheels still turn but are not silky smooth so i will be stripping it down and having a look.

im guessing im just need to use normal self tapping screws to secure the back end on or can someone point me in the right direction of where to find the proper ones

it near enough looks to be all there so hopefully shouldn't take to much

what bits am i missing guys and please could you help me find the parts to get it back running ?

also what car is the other rear from ?

I will be keeping you lot updated on the strip down/ rebuild so follow to be sure not to miss it  :tease:

on to the pictures :hahadance:

The complete(ish) car is indeed a Mardave Meteor.

The rear end is off a Tamiya Grasshopper/Hornet/Lunchbox all of which have been re-released recently.

Dont know what the rear axle bits are.

Only way to get Mardave parts now is second hand but they never sold in great numbers so are a bit thin on the ground.

Personally I wouldn't consider getting any of it running as it stands.
