I have been trying to work out why when I let go of the throttle on my tt01 brushed rc car it locks the breaks on and doesn't freewheel can any one help me please

Continuing my clear out. This time it's a fully rebuilt Tamiya TT01 based Honda Integra. This car has been fully stripped, cleaned and rebuilt and comes ready to run (You just need batteries for the transmitter). Lots of nice blue hop ups included! Hey there. I have played with normal RC cars since i was a boy and want to now get into it a little more and buy my first proper electric on road RC car. I have been looking at different and makes, concluding that i would like to get a Tamiya 1/10th Electric car but need advice on which one. I want something that is powerful and easy to maintain but that i can start upgrading and tinkering with once i advance with this particular hobby. I have been looking at the M05 mini cooper and the TT01 - i love the mini and do have an old mini shell i painted which would be nice to use, but i wanted to see if anyone with a bit of knowledge has any advice on the matter? My budget at the moment is around £200. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi to everyone I've just dug out my old tamiya FF02 from my dads loft. It must have been up there for at least 10 years but suprisingly the battery charged and it ran. (even the batteries in the radio had some charge!!!) So now I've been bitten by the bug again. For starters I want to get the FF02 running better. I think there is something wrong with the resistor on the msc because it will only run at full speed or nothing. Will also be looking to get a new buggy or truggy some time soon so recommendations welcome. Cheers all Simon
