Thanks for the advice, it’s just quite a rare motor and I’m reluctant to get rid of it, and I don’t want to spend loads of the tt01, it’s only for fun👍

I have an acto power touring special motor which is brushed, 15x2 turn and I get 37mph with an msc, just ordered a HobbyWing 1060 esc for it, and hopefully gonna be able to get it up to that speed, I’ve been researching and the biggest I can run on the tt01 is 25/55 so I’ll probably run that and the esc, and see what we get from that. Thanks mate, will still look at the gool brushless system though👍

Hi all, I’m looking at making my Tamiya tt01 do 50mph on 8.4v nimh batteries, does anyone know a motor and esc combo that I will be able to find that isn’t too expensive? I know that everyone is going lipo these days, but I can’t be bothered with the hassle, so thanks in advance👍
