I started restoring this classic but have changed my mind and would like to sell it on to fund my current TL-01LA touring car. This has brand new tyres, brand new bearings all round, brand new rear axle gaitor and the hop up aluminium front uprights. The shell is original monster beetle. This is not new and has seen some action. It has had a repair although its very well done. The nose cone is new and from a sand scorcher. It comes with new light buckets and new indicators. There are no light lenses. The chassis has been painted metallic black and looks fantastic! The rear shock mounts would need replacing, they are original and have cracked. Also, the drivers side rear body mount is not original, I mocked it up quickly for the pictures. Also included are a brand new 540 motor, a brand new msc should you wish to install period electronics and everything else in the pictures. Hello Due to me not being able to complete this build its up for sale. I had plans to make my own chassis and finish converting this to electric but that never happened and its taking up space so it has to go . Due to it being a "work in progress" its not in the best state so I hope that the pictures below will illustrate the condition better than me trying to describe lol. Ive added a few upgrades to, t bone bumper, traxxas wheelie bar and team associated v2 small bore shocks. On a test outing I striped the spur gear so that will need replacing. Ive included the engine that came with the car that had a brand new pull start and glow plug, I got the engine started but it need to be tuned so I never got very far hence it being converted to electric. Ive got a box of parts for the car with also sort of bits that ill include. In the picture it shows the car fitted with new era hex's these are also for sale but are not include with the car, the ties on the right are 12mm hex's so ill include them in the sale if they are both sold together. l'll let the pictures do the talking, if you want any more feel free to drop me a pm and ill email you some over. As some of you who saw the thread may know, I bought this and the Gelande 2 with the idea of selling the one I don't see myself using. Well since receiving the Landy, I've decided to keep that and move this on, simply because, I like Land Rovers more than Hilux's. To some it may seem stupid, but that's the 'story' behind the sale. (genuine reason and all that ) So, here it is. Not too much to say, it comes with a Spektrum DX3C transmitter (2 stickers and 1 grip missing, but it's coming free with the deal) it's just had a new spring fitted by me. Chassis itself is sound, runs perfectly as it should and everything functions. I'm leaving the Alturn 780 servo in, which is what I had controlling the 2 speed box, but it could easily be used for steering if you so wished. Very very minimal marks 'nothing even worth photographing' as this was used for about 15 minutes in the garden in total, mainly for some pictures. Also included is an RC4WD steel real bumper, full Tamiya Hilux interior, all the original parts left over, original manual, box etc... Even kept all the little bags, I always tend to in case I ever need to refer back to one particular bolt size and so on. Theirs also the alloy 4WD Hilux badges on each side, along with the alloy Toyota lettering across the back. Some very very tiny areas of the black could do with touching up, nothing major, it's very easily removed as it's brushed on, for a matt look. I also think the bed looks better hand painted, for a more bed liner effect rather than shiny paint. That's about all I can think of, shall add more if I think of anything. If you want pictures without body (think we all can Google what the chassis looks like ) and any of the other bits just let me know, I just haven't taken any at the time of writing this. I have just completed my losi 8ight t and have a brushless baja project and i cannot see myself using this although it's a great bit of kit. This advert is purely for the roller (with wheels) The only marks on the buggy are a couple of scratches on the bottom of the chassis, towers and wing however mechanically it is perfect. It was built using the losi conversion kit and both 16 and 15t pinions will be included. Well so much for getting back into the scale scene me and the Mrs had a large debate about the amount of "toys" I have so I've got to clear some, up for sale is the series 1 landrover I picked up yesterday, it was a one off build and is stunning along with the trailer, it has a t rail chassis with chassis mounted servo centre transfer box and front and rear props all that is required is a front mounted gearbox or direct drove from the motor and short prop, wheels are painted and look great with rc4wd tyres, the roof and canvass back remove to make a nice open top pick,trailer is in very good condition and they look well together, top links are threaded rod so could just do with sleeves making which is a 5 min job, this rig since being built has never turned a wheel and say on a shelf, with a little maintainance it would be a show stopper, I no how much this was originally and what the last owner had in it but I'm just looking to recoupe my money so for sale at
