Hi, My buggy has an issue. At the track yesterday I popped in a 5000ah NIMH battery and bashed around the track until the car slowed indicating the battery was getting down. I replaced the battery with another, fully charged and it took off as normal, but with in a lap slowed, as if the battery was down. Another fully charged battery had exactly the same result, it's almost as if I had turned the throttle down to 50%. The motor has a fan, the esc was cool and I'm stuck! Any suggestions as to what I change first would be most welcome.

Arrma Granite stops driving after 5 seconds of driving.

My Arrma Granite BLX stops driving after a few seconds, I am even driving slowly. I am 15 so I don't know what to do, I am worried about taking it apart without knowing what is going on. I don't want to have to spend $100 to buy another ESC. By the way the truck is years old, and the batteries are brand new with an new lipo battery charger, I asked my uncle what could be wrong with it and he says that he doesn't know. I also have been driving the truck rear wheel drive, because I broke the front differentials racing against a Senton, the front diffs are out and not causing a problem. The truck has had problems before, I also have a new brushless motor, and a new servo. The truck just one day stopped driving for more than a few seconds, and has been in storage for months now and I am trying to get it back on the road, at least two wheel drive. I hope this is enough to help you guys get the truck back on the road. -
Hi guys my much loved Helion Criterion 1/10 2WD buggy managed to self destruct it’s motor yesterday and I’m looking for inspiration on what to do next. I’ve had the buggy for ages but recently my brother has bought a Tamiya Neo-scorcher and I’ve got a lot more into modding that with him and I’m looking to move on from my stock criterion (aside from a 4400 7 cell and a metal gear set ) I’m currently on a limited budget of about £150 and my question to you is what do I do? Do I get a replacement motor and some upgrades for my criterion (and if so which ones?) or do I start a new long term project with another buggy, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Basically, once my ESC just over-heated after a 3 minute run going up a small pile of gravel with the shell on. It then made a bad burning smell and abit of smoke came from the wires on the ESC. The heatsink was also a orangey colour, but hasn't changed since this day. After starting it up again today, it was sluggish and started to create a burning smell once again, no doubt the amount of heat it was producting after. I've also noticed that it now has no braking option, I've reset the ESC and still doesn't brake, but steering and acceleration works fine. Any ideas guys?
