  1. Hi guys my much loved Helion Criterion 1/10 2WD buggy managed to self destruct it’s motor yesterday and I’m looking for inspiration on what to do next. I’ve had the buggy for ages but recently my brother has bought a Tamiya Neo-scorcher and I’ve got a lot more into modding that with him and I’m looking to move on from my stock criterion (aside from a 4400 7 cell and a metal gear set ) I’m currently on a limited budget of about £150 and my question to you is what do I do? Do I get a replacement motor and some upgrades for my criterion (and if so which ones?) or do I start a new long term project with another buggy, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    SOLD

Helion select 4 TR, now rebranded and sold as associated rival MT. Sold to me needing a new spur.... Centre diff bearings however had collapsed and pinion chewed spur and it's missing parts. This annoyed me greatly as I ordered the parts I was told I needed before the truck came so it's sat in a tub in disgust since. As I'm aware to complete you'll need bearings for centre diff (£2), centre dog bone (£7) rear chassis brace (£?) and various screws / spacers. Wing mount and wing also but not absolutely necessary. One shock is stiff so assume a new shock shaft too (£5). Wheels good, diffs and driveshafts also. Stock servo is inc, I haven't tested it but can if needed. Parts needed are to the best of my knowledge but it's sold as a cheap project on the spares or repair basis. I have a spare new clear 1:10 truggy type shell that looks a good fit and can be included. Pics show the chassis sat together - the rear end is however NOT connected currently to allow access to the centre diff. NET £50 ono for roller, £60 Inc new shell. Post available or collect if your local and passing (DE5). May consider RC trades if local or long serving member in good standing - 1/8 shells / electrics / radio gear OR LC Racing related gear. thanks
