  1. Lol see your own thread. Kinda funny, but also a bit worrying as for quality. Want a more reliable TX. All my RX`s worked the same across the 3 diff branded versions I have (5 in total, 3 HKing, 1 Flysky, 1 Tamco) 2 Feet, maybe 4 if I was in line of sight and it would just glitch and no signal Battery fully charged Tried in my Dex410 and with my D8T. Same.
  2. Just had same thing except im at about 2 feet, before its gone and my Gt3c is a month old. Ive tried 3 diff brands (the included one / hobbyking ones / tamco branded version ) of receiver on mine and im at 2 feet...
  3. Ok so decided last month to grab a Flysky Gt3c as a new transmitter to replace my Ansmann W5. All has been well and Ive been out with it maybe 4 times. Until today... Took it and my Dex410 to the park and switch on ready to run, things are ok for 5 secs, then I notice there`s a bit of glitching and signal loss. So I turn off the rc and trans then go to start it up again. Wont go beyond 2 feet before signal is gone completely.... Being in middle of park I test what I can and figure its the receiver. Np, get back to the house and try a few of my HobbyKing spare receivers on it. Nothing going beyond 2 feet before signal loss. Tried 4 diff receivers and 2 diff cars. So it must be the transmitter! Ive since taken it to pieces and cant see any faults or issues aside a bit of a scratch along what appears to the be the rf module. Im at the point of saying my month old Gt3c is for the bin, but wanted to see what you guys thought before I threw it out a flipping window.
  4. You can get the same motor from http://www.dollarhobbyz.com/ for about
  5. I wanna see this once it done! Go give Colin Furz a ring
  6. All i shall say is.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA now yall know how it feels to be Scottish and going into a World Cup!!! Oh ... wait.... thats not a good insult.... LOL!!!
  7. Remember attempting this as a child after being aw struck at the local Model shop in Paisley (now gone ). My Dad who wasnt much of a Dad, tried to help me. Never got past 50% complete as he wouldn`t spend time with me to build it. Too complex for a man who was a flippin joiner!!! I bring this up as it was the site of these planes and models which sparked the interest in me all those years ago. That and my Grandpa being an expert model maker. Think one day I shall take a leaf from your book and pick one of these up for some old school fun. That and so I can stick to old dumbass as well lol!

  9. i might be up for this a day. I live in shawlands and am only a number 3 bus away. I run... D8Te Dex410 RC18MT TT-01 Drift Turnigy Rally Car
  10. Epoxy it and forget about it. If you buy a one way diff for the front, the diff you replace it with can always be a spare. I normally try to go with rims with thicker spokes i.e 5 spokes etc. Just as going sideways means the wheel face takes a bit more stress and you crack rims quicker. So try to find something that looks like it has strength to it. shops we have.. hobbyking.com - tonnes of cheap rims and tyres, but sometimes import fees. ebay.co.uk - duuuh! but has some of the best stuff and will be best bet for some of the harder and rare, more expensive drift stuff rcgeeks.co.uk - normally has a nice selection of drift stuff, started as an ebay shop maxspeedtechnology.co.uk - never used but have a nice selection wheelspinmodels.co.uk - decent and trusted seller jespares.co.uk - as above cmldistribution.co.uk - as above asiatees.com - import fees, never used, has amazing selection of rarer parts (tho maybe too good to be true) modelsport.co.uk - great supplier and has a great selection of rims and tyres.
  11. Get some HPI T-Drifts for outdoor use. Best drift tyres Ive had yet and yes I run a tt01. Get a one way front diff and lock up your back diff for better drifting. There are also some adjustable front arms you can get to give the front wheels the toe in you see on the pro setups aswell. Found that after i made those changes from stock, that drifting became much easier. Still struggling to do tight drifts and control at low speeds, but think this may be a downside to the tt01 not being a pro drift setup like the Sakura D3 etc. You can get T-Drift knock offs from China pretty cheap aswell and there as good as the officials, just cheaper and longer wait on them coming to you.
  12. If you need the manual and I assume you dont have then just google and download that for help. Otherwise Im afraid that no, there isnt really people or services who will install parts for you, other than a few nice fellas on here. But again its so un-needed when you SHOULD DO IT YOURSELF. Sorry for the caps but, really its part of the fun and the draw to the hobby. Plus the more you work on these the more you learn and improve. Its not rocket science and whilst sometimes frustrating or confusing its also immensely satisfying when you start to build your model up and see it run.
  13. Where you get the truck cab, fancy trying this myself.

    AX90026 YETI

Ditto!! Big Ditto!! But this one might just be the 1st Axial I own.
  15. Same!! Been using mine for over 3 years and its great. Makes mince meat of worn screw heads etc and even was able to chop up a Mod1 Steel pinion with ease. I actually replaced a dremel with mine and in no way did I find it a lesser machine, the build quality isnt as nice, but the actual usability and speed of the thing is as comparable to the dremel.
  16. Why not get a Maplin rotary tool? http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/130-w-variable-speed-rotary-tool-and-172-piece-accessory-set-n03fy?gclid=CjkKEQjwiPWcBRCTj_-Vz8fE3cMBEiQAZIMSUoKU6eIl8To9qZmIV0_tWoRNyAH7u8-4pjGGWM9Z0Frw_wcB
  17. For PC it means mods, mods, mods!!!! And better MP probably. For other`s I guess just the fact they have another game for there new consoles.
  18. This is what Im running now, well, will be soon. But yes, seems to be one of the better options at present.
  19. Hi folks Im wondering with many RC parts being similar, if there are any 194mm driveshafts out there. Reason being Ive busted my Tekno v4 kits one and only way to get is via importing from U.S. Thus wondered about a local alernative? Below is link to the offending piece of kit. http://www.teknorc.com/shop/tkr450613f-v4-cv-driveshaft-front-truggy-kits-4506-4507-4509-194mm/ I just need the long driveshaft itself, rest is fine. So would someone else fit if correct length?
  20. Sure, once hell freezes over, pigs start flying and the dark lord Cthulhu walks the Earth.
  21. Castle Neu 1515 2200kv Motor arrived from the states. V.happy, but sadly my front driveshaft is bent so no testing until next month and a purchase from Tekno`s website... sigh...
  22. Photography isnt a crime and in a public place he has as much right to take pictures and film as anyone else. If the drone had been flying low above a womens changing area or hovering above a Nudist beach then yes I could see argument. But as is she has no right to launch into an attack like that. It`s similar to knocking the crap out of someone for taking pictures in a park on a sunny day. Id also add that in the video the number of people about would suggest he was in a reasonably quiet and secluded part of the beach. Ludicrous!!!
  23. Waiting on new front driveshaft now as old one has bent. No speed runs for me for a while. Annoying as I have a 2200kv Castle Neu 1515 coming and cant use until I get a new shaft from U.S.A 63mph on 6s barnestah is nice! Really need some smooth ground for a nice long run. Yes my setup is a little hot as about 3/4 of the way thru a lipo I have to let it cool after thermal protection kicks in. Thus why I have the castle motor coming. Hopefully a lot cooler. Tho may drop back down to 15t pinion, but like a 20t as thats what i ran on me Nitro`s.
  24. YAY! Front driveshaft on my d8t tekno v4 has a tiny band, which under revs and centrifugal force turns into what looks like a skipping rope. probs not good for the 5s beside it...

  25. Get a Hobbywing 150A ESC when you can afford next. That plus a decent 2200kv motor. You can get a Mamba Max 8 on ebay for around
