  1. How I missed that and posted my stuf I dunno... Just ignore me LOL. Merry CHristmas
  2. Right I found one in one of my vintage cars, and I have done alsorts trying to get it to do the same as yours wit no success at all. The esc setsup automatically each time no matter where the stick was when transmitter was tuned on it took that as neutral. All I can suggest to start off with is make sure that the transmitter throttle trim is absolutely dead centre, the throttle is set to 50/50 and not 70/30 if thats a option and then do the turn on procedure. If it still isnt right I reckon you have a faulty esc.
  3. Everytime the esc is turned on it sets up, make sure you are turning transmitter on first. If you pull the trigger to full throttle slowly does it still cut off at full throttle? Im wracking my brains to think if I have one of these esc's in any of my cars so I can check it out (60 cars and mostly mtroniks esc's you would think so)
  4. His previous post says there is no setup button, with mtroniks that means it sets itself up automatically.
  5. Right sounds like a battery issue then. Post back when charged.
  6. It certainly sounds like a battery that isnt charged properly, if you charge batteries and still does it then you could try resetting up the esc. (if you can, i.e. has it a set up button on the esc go through that process again)
  7. That motor is a 4240, not meaning to hijack thread... on a note for thread its a cracking motor and will be a good replacement for a 30 or 35 size nitro engine.
  8. That motor chap is a bigger diameter brushless than a standard 540, its in a big boat... you know like the phrase its not a small cow its just far away!
  9. I run Huco couplings on my 37inch Huntsman, with a 900kv motor and on 4s it is quick, the couplings cope just fine. (For a bit of extra reassurance heatshrink over joint works a treat).
  10. It has sat too long on the shelf and may as well go to someone that can use it. It is ready for sailing just add battery and transmitter/receiver, fitted with a big brushless motor (900kv) and brushless esc, rudder servo too. ESC and Motor are watercooled. Ideally it needs a cosmetic makeover as it was built 20 years ago plus prop shaft bushings.
  11. I ordered these too for it, perfect size for the heli and has right connectors on.. fast delivery too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221143179819?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

  16. Yup answered in threads like this several times but will do it again... Im 42 over 30 years of RC and more to come (I hope), anything RC for me, Cars, lorries, bikes, planes, helicopters, boats I have them all and still looking for more. My biggest vice though is my Vintage Tamiya's.
  17. I personally dont see the point in major modifying to improve handling with Lunchbox. I see the whole point of a Lunchbox is the way it doesnt handle its fun, the 3rd shock mod is only one I have done to mine as the standard springs foreer break.
  18. Your internet speed hasnt improved yet then Andy, mine isnt great but better than that.
  19. I dont do shelf queens they are all runners, some gentle runners but all runners.
