It's a fine balance. Firstly, you need to ensure the shocks are working smoothly - should be anyway. If the oil's too thick, it may hold up the truck, but the spring won't have a 'correct effect' - I always like good damping, but 'a bit springy. You could have too-thick oil, and the truck appears OK, but after a decent jump, the suspension compresses, but the spring cannot push back up again - needs to work against the weight of the truck, plus pushing the piston through the thicker oil. Mach .28's a fantastic motor, or was as a spare for my Raminator when it was nitro. Never heard negative press for it other than it runs hot. I preferred my LRP motors when I ran it nitro, but was always surprised when I put the 'copperhead' Mach .28 in it! Bit of a surprise that. Al.

Tug's Apex story sounds like their service on the internet!! Thing is they offer a lot of things I've needed in the past and at a 'competitive' price - never seems to arrive for at least 1 week!! Al.

FOR SALE: USED and HIGHLY MODIFIED Losi Mini Raminator - 2.4 G.Hz, 2S LiPo, Novak Mongoose sensored Brushless. it has cost a small fortune over the years, so is a BARGAIN (relatively of course) ! It has 2 'good, used' red Raminator bodies and is running with a VERY RARE near-new (virtually unmarked) black Rammunition body. It has a huge list of red Dynamite alloy parts - threaded alloy shocks, chassis, side rails, arms, threaded tie-bars. It has Losi carbon fibre shock mounts and Losi carbon fibre skid plates. It has an alloy gearbox casing - I think it is Hot Racing, but not certain (£60 new!!). It has alloy bumper front and rear. It has alloy body mounts. It is powered via a Losi 2S LiPo battery into a Novak Mongoose 8.5 / ESC / sensored BL motor. Alloy wheel hexes also help limit wear in the original plastic / rubber tyred Raminator wheels - very good condition. The receiver is a Losi MRX 3000 Spektrum 2.4 G.Hz receiver. THERE IS NO 2.4 G.Hz TRANSMITTER - simply bind to your own. It has a viscous centre differential, so is very stable. It has Losi sway bars fitted front and rear. It has been a little 'pride and joy' but isn't used much nowadays and funds are needed for 'other projects'. Everything mentioned, also indicated in the photos where possible, is included.
