Ref "I have just completed stage 15 of the build and as I fitted the steering links I noticed that one of the servo saver shafts (part LA362) that fixes to the chassis is approx 1.5mm longer than the other"
Have you measured the shafts with a vernier out of the car? Reading the above i would have bet on it not being seated in the housing correctly.
Hi Dunc,
Have a look at the KV rating. KV is how many revolutions the motor will turn for every volt of power. I don't know what the stock motor is for that model but its likely noted on the can or manual. The higher the KV the faster the motor!
The Orion micros come in different KV. if you using the stock Losi ESC i would stick to around sameish KV if possible or it may not handle a really fast motor and burn out!
Charles,
we change rear antisquat to lose some rear end grip.
It makes car lot smoother in corners where grip is high, You will need to Dremel gearbox as the wishbones snag.
Have a look at Elliott Boots setup on kyoshoeurope.com
Don't understand the timing of this press release!
We been stocking and selling in the UK since July!!!
Maybe USA is a bit behind?
2wd v 4wd always a big debate!!!
Cannot easily answer what is best for you and your driving style. Just consider 2wd is a Bit cheaper if money is tight!!! and less maintenance.
Maratime have plenty of guys running both classes and plenty of Kyosho to see and ask about. may sure ask the guys who are running any questions you have, best person to ask for is Mike Cradock. he's there every Tuesday night Normally!
