Ok so 2nd time out with the revo and yet again, 3 minutes in (literally) something else gives up and i go home.
So it started okish, just needed a tune *i think*. Then i lost all drive, kicked the throttle and it was barely moving. Brought it in, checked the meshing, spur condition and redid the slipper clutch. Tried again and same results. Lots of revs and barely any movement. So i ripped it apart again, and took the slipper apart. Now the slipper consists of a spur with pads on the back. And then a metal plate on a another metal plate which is hooked up to the gearbox. Now the pads and the thin metal are very smooth and just glide. Since i've never been around a revo just making sure this is the problem.
I expect the pads should be gripping onto the metal plate?
