  1. i have this one http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=24590 it worked great in my tt-01 and now in my ta-05ifs, good amount of top speed and fairly torquey for bashing, the faster motors are the same price as well it's cheap enough to buy new
  2. my school is great and pays for anything, so alot of the students use loads of carbon fiber (i don't think they know it costs
  3. lol, i did a carbon fiber elec conversion for me savage got GCSE's thinking of either a mini grand piano (i play piano ) or a scratch build car.
  4. imo you should be able to kill the fekkin guy if you found someone burgling your home...
  5. Happy birthday try and have a better one than me
  6. 1/12 or 1/14 a few custom touring cars with giant motors inthem and "massive" 1/10th scale touring car tyres will make em fly
  7. NO, Ive had it a while. I'm gonna sell it as faulty for
  8. Just got back from a rubbish work experience day and plugged my MM incorrectly. It needs to go back to CC with $50 Does anyone know how much faulty ones sell for? (thinkin of buying a MMM ESC and put it in a touring car ) On top of that it's my birthday
  9. since owning the savage i'd pick a revo , the savage is too big and cumbersom, it's difficult to get into it for any decent maintenange, (gotta take the shocks off which takes an age) the handing could also be better although it could be improved with rolls bars and stiff springs.
  10. interested in batteries, how much do they hold? (not the rating but what they can actually take on a full charge) how many charges on them?
  11. i think the little car was a TXT1, the side chassis plates and solid axels look very similar. I agee the special effects were absolutely amazing, I saw terminator the other week but i didn't think much of the effcets, when one walked through the liquid iron it looked a bit fake. Now i'm scared my rc might turn and start attacking me i soo loved those mini robot twins, soo funny i didn't think they had it in them to take on the big guy (did they die in the end)
  12. Just got back, It's freaking amazing, probably one of the best movies i've watched in a few years.
  13. wow, isn't he about to start a load of concerts? RIP
  14. that's for the super speed freaks who have money to burn there's two ways to do it i think, a high KV motor with low voltage and high amps 4s lipo - although you can get 127mph with a 4s lipo and mamba max 7700kv (cheap version) or great big torquey motor with millions of volts, 6s lipo + (expensive version)
  15. if you round off the tip of a hex can you sand down or cut it off to use the rest of the shaft?
  16. bars will conduct the current better than nails and won't heat up at much i think
  17. +1 to that, i'm nearly 16 and i'm still playing with toy cars
  18. 5700kv C4 motor is basically a mamba max, it will give you good speeds on 3s lipo and also drivability without overheating, if you want the motor just to be used for speed, get a mamba max 7700kv and run it on 3s (out of warrantee but castle creations have upgraded their motors, bearings can take 150krpm and magnet can take over 100k i think)
  19. some cheapo ready assembled battery packs have no label or sticker around the cells, instead they got some brown paper :0 they'll look pretty rubbish when made into a side pack
  20. Don't think it would be 80 for payaa you go replacement screens cost over 100 so they would be loosing out
