  1. You got it.....! I have never taken a glow start apart, but they must have a wire or connection from top end of battery to the outer of the shaft, the inner copper bit being the +ve and the outer shaft -ve or 'earth'. If you got a multimeter and put one lead on copper bit in end and other lead on shaft, you should see 1.2V......
  2. It's carried through the engine casing to the earth connection and the glow start 'earth' or -ve is the clamp bit on the outside.....
  3. It does that well enough......!!!! hehe Cornering is great on the loose stuff, but on tarmac/hard short grass.......UH-OH..! Just for adjusting tracking I think? toe-in toe-out???
  4. Anyone know what current draw the average glowplug is?? Trying to work out how long an 1800mAh glow start would effectively power the glowplug for. I have one Ni-Cad 1800mAh and one Ni-Mh 1800mAh. Am i right in saying the Ni-Cad one will develop 'memory' effect if not fully discharged before charging?? And the Ni-Mh should be Ok to charge at any point of discharge????
  5. So does mine.....maybe just the nature of the BEAST.....!! LOL

  7. Just got the Savage 4.6 run in and nicely tuned....took it for a rasp after work tonight and ended up doing a very high speed wheel to wheel - end over end cartwheel  It landed on it's wheels, I held my breath and brought it gently to my feet for inspection of damage Gutted....snapped an upper arm....!!! Being new, I never had any spares in for it, so that was it, end of playtime and time to order a full set of spare arms.... What other spares is it worth keeping in for the Savage besides the plastic spur gear???

  22. Can someone explain to me about the above - here are my questions..... Is ANY make/brand 27 meg TX compatible with ANY make brand 27 meg RX if same channel crystal is fitted in both? Are the 27 meg crystals a standard fit between ALL MAKES of TX/RX?? How many different channels are available on 27 meg? found this - http://www.macctrack.co.uk/crystals27.html How are they numbered?? I guess it is always handy to have a different set, if you turn up to your fave spot and someone else is already there on same frequency, you have had it without changing to a different set?? cheers
