  6. when i build it its not gonna get abused but im giving it enough bracing to make sure that when i do "accidentally" roll it during trailing it wont cause much deformation if i left it as it is and found a way to mount it it would be flat after the 1st roll
  7. it was fully charged! i charged it just before removing it lol also, i tried the other battery in really salty water, did nothing so i have abandoned it in my back garden

  10. yeah im another one obsessed by fire, the other day it was nice and sunny so i decided to pour a little petrol on an alien and light up and for those who dont believe me... vid soon just need to find my memory stick tortured it first with a little white spirit though
  11. ok ill let him know thanks
  12. my car is almost sorted... well my best one is anyway, dilema is do i run the one i like the most and get it dirty (i have just rebuilt it) or use the other one thats still dirty... both are getting sold so both need to be mint
  13. THEIR ****ING FAULT! PLAY WITH FIRE AND YOU WILL GET BURNT how did they get the fuel? parents fault? everyone with any sense knows you dont pour fuel directly onto a fire but i guess the kids were just too stupid to know so worst burn i have ever had was at a mates bonfire and that tought me enough of a lesson to respect fire
  14. i love growing stuff i have 2 massive Rhubarb plants (nom nom NOM!) 3 gooseberry bushes although i think they may have died off this winter a 6x4ft area of Strawberries , a cherry bush, 3 apple trees, potato patch and some other fruit i cant remember the name of they dont grow that well here (besides the Rhubarb before the snails get it) but in my patch in wales they grow like mad, i was walking my aunts dog one day and found a strawberry plant, took it back and planted it next to the Rhubarb, a few months later it was all over the place! they are only small but really sweet. out neighbours in wales grow allsorts though
  15. my mate bought a thunder tiger tomahawk from the trafford centre (for more than the price of a hyper 7 black ) and he has lost a wheel hex, anyone got a spare?
  16. just watched it, shame they didnt jump a petrol for the video
  17. aww i thought it was on tonight, when are the repeats and what chanel?
  18. well i used to have a NGK iridium plug with NGK plug cap and NGK lead on one of my minimotos and it made a difference as soon as i fitted them and i want a NGK plug cap and maybe lead to go on my sandrail (want the hard black type with the white NGK) but would this for example fit: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NGK-SPARK-PLUG-CAP-scooter-motorcycle-/140401252387?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20b0911823#ht_500wt_956 because they seem to have different lengths and also theres resisted and non resisted type? anyone know what that means? is it that little screw on bit that goes on the top of the plug? because with he one on my minimoto i had to screw that bit off to reveal the screw and slide it onto that also whats the best lead you can buy? thanks
  19. more top end, the closer the gears are the higher the top end ... i think
  20. all i did was stick a set of old almost bald tyres on my marder, give it a blast on fresh tarmac for a bit (the less grip the longer the tyres seem to last so it takes a while) then go the industrial estate where all the tarmac is old and dusty and watch it slide also at industrial estates i have found you tend to get a few bits of tarmac that lead up to a high kerb to jump off whilst being able to achieve maximum speed on approach i will never buy a set of slicks for my petrol rc's i dont think. i mean, those "slicks" on the marder that used to be normal tyres have lasted since i got it and not worn down more than 1mm (apart from me taking the actual tread off it on purpose) and trust me, its been doing plenty of sliding and standing starts on the dusty stuff you can do a standing start and if you keep it straight enough to prevent it just spinning out get it to wheel spin for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages in a straight line
  21. could you not just get a set of rubber shielded bearings? to replace the stock ones when they die a slow and agonising death by sand?
  22. does nobody make clutch outerwears? i think some self adhesive velcro and a bit of cloth are in order
  23. i have sent a FG Leopard, had my job lot of Baja 5b collected from Scotland and then the 5b sent out to London and 2 Marders collected from Wales, i find the best place is http://www.interparcel.com/, click quote and book and enter the details they will give you a list of companies and their prices and then collect the parcel at a selected time and date from you. its normally below £20 but if you have a printer can be below £10 also i have found that every time i get a parcel collected, by whatever service, it arrives next day might just be luck though oh, and about the box size problem, i normally make my own out of 2-3 boxes
