  1. what's the hex size? And which truck where they on?
  2. Not a bad idea, I'm gonna try it. Do you know the drill size?
  3. Alright, how 's the hi-speed cornering with these?
  4. Nice wheels, are those proline too? Got a link?
  5. Know what you mean. I'm pretty cautious with it. I won't drive it on 6S either, I want to keep it alive I do jump it however, and it's easier to control mid air on BL.
  6. I know, but the Summit is just awesome on BL It then just becomes the ultimate fun truck! And I've never liked the looks of the erevo, looks too squashed. I've got to say, I'm not a brainless basher, apart from 2 front bumpers, this is the first breakage in 2 years time. Gonna try the MIP CVD's then, thanks for help!
  7. Hmm, good question. I was indeed driving it full speed (BL on 4S) with the front diff locked, although I didn't know that. I must have pushed the switch accidentally and not notice. Do you think that might have caused it? I usually only lock diffs when I'm crawling, not in high gear. The next ride (after I put it back together) was even shorter. Diffs were not locked and the pin popped out after a few minutes of bashing. I must say that, when putting it back together, it was kind of loose, no snug fit really. It got me wondering how on earth that pin would stay in when driving... So I guess the half shafts are just worn now? Do they have CVD's for the Summit? Thanks for your help!
  8. I got this happening last time I went out on the beach with the Traxxas Summit. The pin connecting the half shafts to the front axles pops out. Put everything back together but it happened again on the next run after 5 min. Why is this happening? Never happened before in 2 years time. Can anyone help?
  9. I doubt they're gonna sell lots of these. What a butt-ugly shell
  10. Unbelievable I have to learn that from a Brit! Thanks a lot Neill, really useful. What's bizarre is that my decalred value is about $33 (approx 25
  11. Thanks for replies guys, I should have specified I live in Belgium, sorry for that. I'm still in doubt what to do. I'm gonna email Hobbyking and ask them if this is legit, or maybe give them a call tomorrow (it's 9 PM now over there).
  12. I do order regularly from Hobbyking (6th time now) and I've never had any issues with customs charging me duties. Until now, I received a rather bizarre email from their shipping company: SCS Express International Ltd I'm finding this really strange, cause: -I've been hit by customs before (not with an HK-order), and it was then collected by the postman at my door -The English grammar used in this mail is of poor quality (you would expect an international shipping company to write proper English, wouldn't you?) -There are 3 different fonts and 2 colors used in the email, like it was drawn up by some amateur -They only propose me to pay with paypal?? That's the thing I find the most suspicious... They're not asking me a big amount of money (approx.
  13. Well, I have to say that is interesting indeed. I would be inclined to say yes, but of course I could be mistaking as well. I don't have time right now to surf the web looking for the right answers, but for now: I have always known undergearing to cause hot motors with brushed systems, but generally not with brushless systems where I'd tend to say it's the opposite. Any guru opinions are welcome of course!
  14. It's just logic really: If you put a large pinion on a motor, it will obviously have a much harder time turning it round than it would turning a small pinion round, hence generating more heat cause the load is heavier.
  15. Alright!, cheers for that, really appreciate it Order placed!
  16. Alright, weekend, at last! Time to forget about work! No coupon code for MSUK-forum members Justin?
  17. Alright, that's a nice & convincing reply. I'll be ordering then, looks like what I need exactly.
  18. Has anyone ordered from their site yet? http://www.quaggies.com Is this a legit company to order from?
  19. Concerning tire questions here, I'm pretty pleased with the Proline Gladiators. Grip is awesome with wheelies on grass but also nice to control in oversteer on loose surfaces. They do balloon quite a lot though, so taping them is recommended. Can't go back on mine, they're glued now.
