mate flies helis all the time and he advised collective pitch can actually be easier to fly than fixed pitch which is why fixed pitch are becoming less and less common

question is...... how long would it take them to realise the best way to catch the car is to catch the driver ??? reakon my bro hiding in the trees and me out int middle of field with a dummy controller would cause some chaos lmao

not sure what the crack was with it today .... was runnin sweet on base settings so didnt tune it but after id finished driving it (so i could give the savvy a rip) i tried to remove any oil from the exhaust and absolutely none came out but it was very smokey when i was driving it . was a nice dry crisp smoke if ya know what i mean all in all it was driving well loads of smoke and no excess oil will this hurt the car ??? has all the signs of good tuning (apart from the excess smoke that is )

why they stopped importing??? same for byrons??

quick question ... bought 20% fuel last week (my dad collected it on his way to my house) just noticed it says heli on the side of the jar .... will this hurt my engine??? already run about 7 tanks through ( 2 in my rex x and 5 through bro's savage) just headin over to bro's house now to take them fro a run will this hurt the rex???? (very smoky) have odonnells 25 for both savages now arrived on monday can i run heli fuel in a normal nitro car engine???

plus if you fit lights they MUST work for mot/road license ha ha horn would be more of a novilty to me

going by what he was sayin ...... the engine is tryin to fire before it goes past top dead centre so actually firing backwards . not too sure about the whole thing myself but im sure someone will put me straight ... not sure how a badly charged glow ignitor causes this but it does seem to KICK back when i was trying to start it this would be enough to damage your starting pin/pressure spring could be a problem with your glow plug as well id imagine

with old fuel still in the tank by the looks of things, would be worthwhile asking what it was running on .... might avoid having to retune

sounds like its running too fast and engaging the clutch ... check you aint got any airleeks mate i noticed air bubbles in the fuel line of the savvy when i was running it in .... happened i hadnt snapped the fuel tank lid closed and was losing pressure try emailing nitro tech about the base settings before you go any further cos if you have messed with them too much no idle adjustment in the world will fix this also what is your throttle trim set at ??? try knocking it back a little

best advice is .... dont trust something you cant control.... pace it off instead of testing you failsafe with a pretty expensive piece of kit use yer head .... your feet are for walkin ha ha

my mate told me it could be caused by pre ignition making the engine fire wrong thus snapping the pull cord back and forcing the pin back in wrong said if i make sure glow ignitor is well charged i shouldnt have any more problems and hey presto so far so good

yeah mate check yer glow plug first the easy start may be enough to keep it glowing but fails when you take it off was the engine completely run in ?
