The shell fits pretty well actually so I can't imagine the velcro suggestion not working I'll have a look though.

I'm not going to be drilling any holes in it. I'll be using Velcro to mount the shell as suggested by Tekno Cheers Gav, much appreciated

It's the proline Slipstream for the Losi 8e, much nicer IMO when compared with the Losi shell

This has taken for ever to be completed, but I am literally about an hour away from finishing although I don't think I'll have another free hour until Tomorrow. well I've just had the body shell through and sprayed it, Chrome. It's come out more like a brushed Alu but it's still a gloss silver that I was looking for There's still some Adhesive residue on the front screen, but that'll be cleaned up tomorrow. I have some decals as well, but I'll save them for when the shell is cut and mounted. I am just waiting on one last item which is a set of Black Dish rims. I've had to order them from the US as I've found no where in the UK with Stock.

This thread has run it's course now chaps. Starkz I am sure your issue with JE is a one off, I've never been let down by the guys there so I am pretty confident it is. As for the few days to go back onto your card, this is something to do with the banks and not JE, they refunded you as soon as the issue was brought to their attention. As for any website that does not display stock information or the order is vital, RING first, Double check it's in stock before ordering.

Proline Knuckles for me are the best all rounder tyre, as for black Dish rims they are impossible to get hold of these days. Proline Discontinued the black Velocity rims, Schumacher stopped doing the black REV8 dish rims. Only hope is to order from the US like I have done.

it's to do with burning off all the fuel before you go to sleep. If you've got food in your stomach and go to sleep it'll more than likely get stored as fat rather than get converted into energy, whether you've trained or not. I've been doing the same since hitting the gym 3 weeks ago, I've not lost weight yet, However I have lost about 3inches off of my stomach and already added an inch to my Biceps and sleep so much better as well.

Well done guys! I know your pain here in losing weight. Up until around 3 years ago I was in pretty good shape, at 6ft1 I was around 15st with a 34" waste. However I managed to snap my shoulder clean off playing rugby and since then pretty much struggled with my weight. I did take up running last summer, but really wasn't seeing results in that. at 18.5st I decided enough was enough and the Last few weeks I've been hitting the gym properly and today I had my first personal training session. I have been given some short Circuits to do and they are killer. Already since starting the gym, I've lost some width off my waste and toned up my legs, shoulders and arms. Best advice is fitness starts on a plate.

Well Finally got some time to work on the Losi, Have got my dissertation out of the way and now only have three weeks left of Uni until I start my Masters next year. Still waiting on a few final pieces to finish but it's 80% there to complete but it'll need a lot more work to it after it's first run before I'm happy Well I've had to order some replacement Hingepins for the rear as both looked like Bananas. New rear arms and Diff owls have also had to to be ordered along with bearings and a plastic replacement Spur. I also have a shock maintenance kit and some new shock shafts on order as this ones been running without shock boots by the previous owner and has started to wear the Ti coating off of the shafts. So here it is at the minute. I did get my body shell through however my plan of a starlit silver (basically glitter) and a metallic red base coat just made it pink so I think I'll be ordering another and doing it again. I did find though that the recommendation from Tekno where you remove both body posts and just use Velcro to attach the shell not to be entirely brilliant. The best way in my opinion is to use the Velcro and a rear Body Post.

I know this, I am currently building the Tekno Conversion for the Losi 8. I've not tried this yet, but as far as I was aware the DX3s didn't support channel mixing, if it does then there's no need to get another 3channel radio.
