  1. Associated T4 spurs should fit, but only if you use the slipper pads from the T4 too.
  2. At less than 0.5v, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. Strip the good cells out to make a 2s and bin the bad one, or chuck the pack.
  3. ... To input some sense into the discussion; () A glowing tip means it's oxidising, I believe. Not sure what to do about it, but maybe let it cool (obviously) and try cleaning it?
  4. I heard they were opening up a storefront somewhere in HK, not sure where that is, though.
  5. I built something similar, pretty much from scratch once. The geometry was all messed up, but it handled too well. You don't realise how much understeer a 1/10 TC has until you've driven something that simply goes where you point the front wheels. However, the build quality was rubbish, so it fell apart after three laps. Oh well, it lasted long enough for it to be graded (Was my GCSE DT project).
  6. Those chargers don't charge the batteries fully, and have a huge fan to keep them cool. I've had them sizzle in the charger before, and that was only 30 minute charger. After a few charges, say bye-bye to your electrolyte. TBH you're better off using the cheap trickle chargers if you want your batteries to last.
  7. The 60A ESC would struggle with that motor. Also, that E-savage is horrifically underpowered. If you want a cheap ESC, look at the hobbyking 100A ones. They work out about
  8. Slam HPI for releasing 20 different versions of the savage, and slam them again for not updating the Blitz after it's been out for about 18 months... Looks sexy, but SC racing isn't too big in the UK, and the ESE is a terrible basher.
  9. What's written on the ESC in the car?

    Sorted

I've got some stuff. Fancy a pile of spares, bearing kit, and steel driveshaft?
  11. A 2000Kv XErun would need a larger pinion, but no, there wouldn't be much difference. You could always enable the turbo mode too, since you can do that with a sensored combo. Waiting for giantcod to stock the XErun combos sounds like a great idea, however. Their prices are almost identical to HK prices, but with only a couple of days' delivery, and UK support.
  12. Get he hobbywing. Sensored is so much better, and the XEruns have a better reputation for reliability. A MMM from the US and an XErun from HK will have the same warranty support too, so warrant isn't an issue.
  13. I remember when watercoolers first came out, the pipes were tiny things, like fuel tubing. Now look at them
  14. The only parts from the blitz and E-firestorm that won't fit are the chassis and body mounts. Everything else is identical.
  15. Here's the new one (Sold as both EZrun and as XErun) http://www.giantcod.co.uk/ezrun150asd-brushless-competitive-p-405860.html You could get away with the 80A if you wanted to, too. http://www.giantcod.co.uk/xerun80asd-brushless-competitive-p-405859.html Program box http://www.giantcod.co.uk/hobbywing-professional-program-p-403901.html All in the UK, too!
  16. I've got an EZrun and an XErun, both 1/10, and they're utterly brilliant. I'm never going to buy anything else, they're that good
  17. It'll be in the settings menu, just scroll along until you get to it, and change it to 'off'. It'll take the capacity of the battery divided by the charge rate, so a 7ah battery will take 10 hours, etc. The end voltage should be 14.7v.
  18. Yup. Unless you want to go sensored, but TBH that's not worth it in an ST.
  19. Cheapest price is hermes, £5+VAT. Next one up is Home Delivery Service, at £6 + VAT. I'll make it £20/21 posted, sound good?
  20. Yup, my dad's mate bought a scoobie, and in the instruction booklet it said to only run it on Shell petrol.
  21. Well, since Si Coe said the one you linked was just an EZrun with a sensor in the endbell, the internals will be the same.
  22. Which card, the regular box or the USB one? AFAIK the USB one doesn't work with the 1/10 version 1 ESC's, but it might work with the 1/8 ones.
  23. It's OK, diesels get twice the MPG of petrol
