Chaps, Selling up my gumf as we'll be moving in the next 6-12 months. Need to clear out all the old stuff, so my loss is your gain. I'll pick up the hobby again when Alex is old enough to join in. It's all mixed up, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. The main items are the Hyper 8/8.5 mix, previously owned by Rob C. There are a few sets of tyres, all used, and the Orion Advantage charger. Note this is the older version, which doesn't charge LiPo's. And of course the bottle of Byron's 25% Gen2 fuel. Also a lot of Hyper7/8 parts, you'll notice my old H7 chassis in the crate. Shock oils, diff oils, air filter oils, afterrun oil, etc. For this lot, I'm thinking

Byron's Gen2 25% fuel, about 3/4 full. Due to postal limitations, this'll be collection or delivery in SG6 area only.

Just a quick tip: Cut the lengths of wire from the batteries at different lengths. This will ensure that they never touch, and therefore don't short out. And another: Always make the battery end of the connector the female. That way they'll also never touch when they're bouncing around in the back of your toolbox en route to the track. Speaking from experience, battery packs get hot REAL fast when they're shorted! And they don't last that long afterwards either...

Check that nothing's rattled loose. DIMM's are notorious for wiggling loose, and after a while, the lappy doesn't boot anymore and gives odd error codes. By the way the way the lights flash indicates what the error is, you should be able to google for it or find it on the manufacturer's website. HTH

Nope, still waiting for a flywheel (waiting at the local depot according to the mrs), so I'll assemble the whole lot in preparation for this weekend's Summer Series at Herts. I'll have a blat around to get the tuning in the ballpark area on Saturday and will report back after.

Clutch bearings are generally seen as consumables, similar to air filters. They suffer a lot of abuse, so it's good to replace as needed. Get a tube of ten from your LHS and it should last you a good while.

Logically it'll do as long as it'll stand up to the rigours of the movement of the buggy/truck/etc, and as long as it's airtight. The higher up you go, the more fuel you'll need to fill up the carb neck before it gets to the crankshaft and sucked into the combustion chamber, but other than that I can't imagine why it wouldn't work.

As per title. ASAP, need it for next weekend's racing. Paypal preferred.

I'm looking for the carburetor body and idle screw for the Axe Rossi Speed .21 engine, model 180R21. It's a fairly old model, but the tricky bit is that the crankcase opening for the carb is 16mm diameter. Not many models feature such a large opening, and if you could suggest an alternative carb that may fit, please do! I have the other screws and o-rings. Would save me having to get a new carb from Italy for about

If you're talking about the nick in the carb neck, then surely you can twist it off and run with it? The air filter neck will cover that off anyway. Although if it's like that from new, then definitely get it sorted with the supplier.
