Crimdon March bash 16/03/2014 Well it's been a while but with the climate warming up its time to get the bashing season started. This is a cracking place and a well know baja buster so be warned .. Our last outing there was awesome one of the best bashes I have had in a long time, the weather also helped out being great hopefully the same again for this bash. KFC is another guarantee after the bash if anyone is interested , that will be billy, trooper and Howie lol This will suit all scales too there is loads of jumps for the nitro and electric guys some great air time the last outing we had there Go to the following postcode then follow the direction in the picture it should get you there Ok TS27 4BN we start bashing between 10-11 And The Trooper special.. Pmsl We didn't do jumping over the scrap cars as the ramp they provided wasn't big enough. Still we know for next time. We have been invited to another event next year but its a full weekender, with camping. Keep your diaries clear June 20th - 22nd. I will consult volume 2 of the NEB rulebook to check if this is allowed

I think its funny that some people get a cob on about it. I didn't decide i was the "boss" - the other founder of NEB first gave me that moniker. Boss of the full North East? Nope i'm just the guy that started the club NorthEastBashers all those years ago. A club for playing with toy cars as you say. What rules and "all that rubbish" - we don't really have any rules - just a bit of common sense especially at organised events like Ridewell where the public are in attendance. Fair enough you aren't gonna get involved with NEB, have fun anyway, its a shame how people get so upset about this hobby that we are all part of. Never mind.... Anyway back on thread track - wheres main pics of the show? Come on i wanna see the jumping sesh

Cracking day oot lads, thanks everyone who came along and helped out. Really enjoyed the show and i'm sure that the crowd did too. Viper - i'm all for involvement with the audience but a little too close eh? Had a canny run with oodboo in the morning - good to meet you bud. Hope you get ya servo sorted. Was having a good bash in the afternoon with everyone but a snapped shock end stopped play for me. The SC shell is looking very sorry for itself now and i don't know if more tie wraps are gonna fix it this time. Jumping has taken it toll... Pics are on the way....

Yeah as jas says its free parking & free entry to the show Please could anyone doing the display - come to the club stand by 11:00am at the latest, then the first display is scheduled for 11:30 till 12 Show opens to the public at 10 Gonna use the club stand as a sorta pit area inbetween the displays as well - so we have a place to work on, or leave our cars and go looking at the other stuff......mmmm i can almost smell the zorst fumes...

Silverbacks stuff is belta - plus backed by top class customer service. Get some of the v2 monkey nuts as well

Ok guys we have now reached our driver limit, anyone else please come along for the show and to support the club, but you won't be able to do the bash display I'm afraid. If preferred - just pm me your real names, and also what car/scale you plan on running. Just so largescale guys run together, small scales run together etc etc. Once i have the attendees confirmed i will do a sorta rota so that everyone gets a bash at showing off in the arena.

Rule book? what rule book? don't quite get what you are saying Anyway back to the big event this thread is all about - RIDEWELL If anyone else is wanting to come and do the display get your name down quick as i need to submit the names of the drivers in a few days. You cannot drive in the arena otherwise i'm afraid. (and these are site rules, they were not taken from the non existent NEB rulebook )

I wanna have the next NEB bash (after Whitley Bay & Ridewell) down that way. I have been recommended Ayton Quarry as a likely site. Any of you guys know/familiar with the place? Any good?? Other suggestions very welcome There was a place in Middlebrough where we went a few years ago, that Merlin recommended. The TM crew came along. There is a very old thread somewhere iirc...i cannot remember the exact place but i recall billys baja getting caught in the wire frame off a old burnt out mattress

As the folks have already mentioned - it sounds like ht lead to me. Happened to my old km. Had me flummuxed as it was sparking fine when tested, but a break in the connection within the plug cap was causiong intermittant running. I only found out when i went to pull the plug out one more time, and the ht lead pulled out with the corroded remains of the metal spring that clips onto plug.

Nothing official planned that i know of. I'm sure that someone will be out though. Glad to see another person still running nitro. I have a revo too but only a 2.5

Well guys at the invitation of Cleveland Police - North East Bashers are attending the Ridewell show at Preston Park, Stockton. We are gonna do a couple of 30minute bash displays/demo's in the centre arena, and will also have a club stand/stall to display & show off some of those shiny shelfers and promote our club & hobby. Looks to be a great all round day out for all the family, there will be various display teams and stunts etc going on throughout the day. On site food wagons etc etc. Its free entry to the show. As cybermenace is away on hol topping up tan once again, Chris - viper96 has kindly offered to assist with the organising. As the arena isn't big enough for everyone to go out at the same time we are planning to break the 30minutes sessions into two 15min displays, or three 10min displays so that as many people as possible can show off their cars and driving skills. Anyone having a bash will also be expected to help out with marshalling when not driving. Everyone takes their turn. Space is limited so let us know soon if you are gonna attend. Probably do a bit of racing around the arena, speed runs, jumping - and jumping over scrap 1:1 cars.... We also have a pro photographer kindly coming along to take some decent pics of the event. So who is interested in helping out and putting on a show?
