Hi all was given a limited gold edition os no 8 glow plug earlier, has anyone used these or even heard of them before? Didn know they did them in gold and to be honest didn even know about the numbers meaning hotter or cooler lol never changed the one in the mta4 yrs ago jus ran it as is for yrs no problems, anytime of the yr lol attached a pic of it jus incase anyone wanted to see it lol

Well took Monty out for a bit of a blast earlier today, ran amazing and the roto start is soo much better than pull start lol Was given a limited gold edition os no8 glow plug earlier and a fastrax rebuildable fuel filter which looks and fits much better than the cheap eBay one 🤠 Also gave both trucks a bit of a shower as both were boggin 🤦 gona let them dry out naturally as won't be usin either again till Wednesday if the weather's nice 🙂 anyway pic of the new fuel filter, and plug lol

Pretty sure the 1/10 ftx range use an 4m nut

Didn fix anything but realized my power switch is broke on the nitro, and when I took the carnage out I didn realise I broke yet another body post and the rear aluminium hub, and bent a aluminium arm🤦 must really learn to go easy with it as it's turnin into a money pit 😜😂😜

Monty's new shoes delivered today 🤠 bit narrow but I think I prefer the look now lol

Added a fastrax roto start to the Montana lol ballache but it's now on and should need replacing again 🤠 Had to grind the chassis done jus to fit it but ahwel lol

Fastrax roto start turned up earlier, gona fit it later on today 🤠 also the thunder Tiger roto start shaft fits perfectly so will be usin that on it and pulled my old drill out the shed and got it on charge 🤠 just a cheap Argos drill/screwdriver, had enough power to start the mta4 s50 so should be good enough to start the montana. Will post some pics up later of the instal and would also have a force 3.5 pull start for sale soon if anyone wants it

Postie brought me some new Ariel tubes and an exhaust deflector lol, hopefully now it won't spit fuel all over my trainers lol an the orange ariel tube looks a bit better than the black lol

No probs buddy, IL make one out of my many Allen keys if the hex shaft don't fit

Wow, I'm runnin standard etronix motor and ESC, was gona upgrade but think IL stay standard until the motor gives up

Iv bent my carnage center shaft but not twisted it yet, do u mean center shaft or the dog bones from diffs to hubs? I know u can use the front cvds on the rear on carnage so assumin u can on the vantage, if it's the center shaft I'm pretty sure theres nothin else out there.. jus stay away from the Chinese "stainless steel" as it's jus chromed aluminium and very weak.. found out the hard way as it snapped in my friends bugsta

Jus go on modelsport website an look at most popular spares and buy them, I would advise the alloy servo saver off eBay and some Ali hexs and the RW hardened steel spur and pinion as the plastic ones just melt after a few runs but once changed ul never have them melt, mines been in since June an havnt had any problems since and I run 3s most the time, also get the Zorro front bumper as that's much better at taking a beating, as for main spares I'd say suspension holders, plastic body posts and battery posts. The wheels ain't that great but cheap to replace but I'm goin to bugsta wheels soon as they take a beatin better than carnage wheels. Tempted to sell mine as gettin into nitro alot more now

Maybe look into the ftx vantage, carnage or bugsta brushless but only use a 2s lipo as 3s is a bit too much to handle or go brushed if funds are tight an maybe upgrade to brushless in the future

Just ordered these off ebay 🙂 cant wait to fit them and do some more bashing

Happy days, don't suppose u know if the old thunder Tiger drill start shaft works with this drill start? Otherwise I'm gotta get a 6mm shaft lol or try an file the end down to fit lol

They look the part, if u buy them, measure against Ur current ones an lock tight them before fitting, they work themselves loose after a few runs otherwise

Ordered a new high speed servo and a roto start for the Montana the other nite, should be here by end of the week 🤠 hopefully it fits and works as it should... The pull start is on its way out an can't be dealin with the blisters again 😂 pic for anyone else who is interested

I find local parks tend to be pretty decent places for my carnage and nitro, I'm sure ul find a decent park or castle that will let u bash it around. I'd jus stay away from loose gravel unless it's got a steel spur gear lol

Took the carnage and Montana out, both out performed an xmaxx and savage 🤠😜 even tho the rear diff is goosed on the carnage it still out accelerated the savage and xmaxx, the Montana had a few little issues but mainly due to the weather change but even that was untouchable once I got tune bang on lol, hopefully Tuesday is nice so I can go back out an beat on the savage and xmaxx 😜😜

If u mean the servo saver it's this one pictured buddy, or the blue turnbuckle things they were 18 on eBay, impulse buy but do look wkd, jus have more wobble than the standard ones lol

Wasn't today but rebuilt the carnage onto a Ali chassis yesterday, as snapped a brand new plastic one a few days ago, also had to use an old acoms 18mg servo as blew the original etronix one in a small crash lol lookin good now tho

Gotta be done sometimes, will keep an eye out for those straps next time I'm in Wilko's tho they look handy.. plus I'm like a magpie an like coloured things that I'm sure I can find a purpose for 🤦🤣🤣

IL get some more pics of it tomoz buddy, but it does look awesome especially with the rest of the blue ali bits lol I would say to put the battery on some verlcro pads if u got them, as it slides about a bit an the pads help keep it in place lol
