7k diff oil and the front ZD racing shocks arrived today 🙂 fitted the shocks so now it's all matching and took the ear plugs out the center diff, cleaned it up and put the 7k oil in 🤠 jus need to replace the fly wheel as that's what's causing the excessive wear on the shoes lol only time will tell if the center diff actually sends power to the rear wheels... If not I'm gona shoe glue it and lock it properly lol or order a new diff an see if that helps it. If all that fails then it's gona be an expensive shelf queen and never used again lol Also the shocks are a few mm longer than the old ones and alot stiffer so hopefully no more bottoming out when I'm racing around the park lol

Haven't posted in here for a while lol Locked the center diff recently as it wasn't sending much power to the rear wheels and it's completely transformed it 😁 it's now 4wd and once my 7k and 10k diff oil turns up il.be able to replace the grease currently in the front an rear diffs lol. Been through a fair few bearings in the clutch bell too lol and jus stripped it down to change yet more clutch bearings out and found the shoes have worn a fair bit... Hopefully gettin some Ali ones off my brother in law Monday tho. Carnage has decided to go rwd as the grub screw, drive cup near the slipper has decided to not want to hold the shaft lol so have 2 trucks that won't be moving anytime soon, and with the misses bein pregnant I doubt il be able to buy any new bits or trucks any time soon 🥺 🥺 fingers crossed the kids into RCS so I can keep enjoying the hobby lol Anyway have fun bashing guys and hopefully il be out again soon lol

Jus had a look buddy, would have snapped that up as it's a bargain but literally jus found out the misses is pregnant so gona have to go easy on spendin on rc's for a while lol misses has said I gotta buy stuff for the sprog before anymore RC cars or bits for my current ones 🤦😂

Been havin a little bash with an outlaw for a few days, didn think they were any good until I used my 2s lipo in it, an Jesus it's a changed truck 😆 might get myself one for Christmas off the kid as I'm really impressed jus don't suggest using 3s as it can't handle the power an not sure if u can get a wheelie bar for them lol if anyone's selling one soon let me know

Servo don't look standard buddy, also the motor and ESC look like the older version, would try and Google it and make sure it's lipo safe, as for manuals I'm sure on the ftx website u can find one on there, looks a cracking little buy tho especially for peanuts, and those tires should grip a bit better than the standard too, I'm running the Dumbo x6 transmitter and X6FG receiver on my carnage and it's excellent although I would advise to order a foam ring off eBay for the wheel as the plastic feels a bit naff lol and if it is lipo safe should be an animal on 3s

17tooth clutch bell fitted, and new zd racing shocks fitted too lol gona take it out later for a bit of blast an see what it's like

Put some new zd racing shocks on, fitted a 17tooth hpi savage clutch bell an had to drill my engine mount off as lock tighted it on 🤦 in my infinite wisdom 🤣🤦 so bought some new mounts so gotta wait until the weekend to give it run and see what sort of speeds the new bell is gona reach 🙂 not sure if it's gona do much but will hopefully know by Sunday lol will post pics later as not at home atm. Edited with pics, drilled the mount off and then put a slit in the nubs an they came out easy 🙂

Hi all me again 🤦🤣 Have broken a shock on the rear of my Montana just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some decent 130mm shocks please, had a look on Amazon and eBay and keep comin up with zd racing aluminium shocks but have read the reviews and they don't seem worth the £45 price tag so has anyone used something different on there nitro buggy lol

It's a Carson Montana buddy, it's a force 3.5ccm possibly a .21 but not 100% sure lol goin to be takin it out later on today for a bit of a bash, I'm guessing the retune when the 17t comes will be needed.. but to be fair it needs a tune everytime it's out especially with the weather constantly changing lol jus want it to keep up with a savage x with dynamite engine, as when that's runnin mint i can't even get close to it 🤣 but it's hardly running nice ATM because brother in laws lost interest since gettin a eb4 again.pic of his built savage x

Well bearings collapsed in the standard 13tooth clutch bell yesterday, fitted a spare 14tooth bell my brother in law had laying around so at least we can have a bash tomoz 🤠 Also noticed the fly wheel is cracked so gona have to replace that at some point but still gona bash it until it's proper broken lol also got a 17tooth bell comin next week so should gear it up a fair bit, as long as it goes on to the spur that is 🤠 also took some pics of what he's gona be takin out tomoz 😍 an included a pic of my cracked flywheel lol

Got a 14t clutch bell off my brother in law and whilst fittin it, iv found my fly wheel has a crack in it 🤦 gona sound stupid but what's the worst that can happen with a cracked flywheel? Pic of the crack lol also the old clutch bell was 13t, will 14t be noticeable or not really? Got a 17t comin next week which should have a noticeable change lol

Jus got the inner bearing put by tappin it all around an then brute force to get it out, the putter bearing has jus the outer casing left inside so gona try the same trick again but got the oven preheating jus incase it don't work lol, thanks for the help guys much appreciated 👍 also ordered the 17t RW racing bell that's meant for the savage so if it fits IL jus use that with some better bearing, if it don't il sell it to my brother in law who has a savage lol

Awesome will try that in a mo Happy days, found a 17t RW racing clutch bell and just wanted to know if it would fit the Carson Montana force engine which is 3.5ccm. should gear it up a bit an make it a slight bit faster, as it's a buggy It shouldn't make too much extra strain on the engine lol but thanks for the info buddy IL order that bell now an give it a go

Or does anyone know if the hpi savage clutch bells would fit the force engine?

Hi all does anyone have any tips or tricks to remove bearings from a clutch bell? The bearings have collapsed and now they stuck in the bell really tight and can't remove them at all lol any help or tips greatly appreciated

Might have my upgraded brushless carnage up for sale soon, if anyone's interested send me a msg 👍 it's got 2s and 3s battery's with chargers and Dumbo RC with gyro and all the old parts to make standard again. Will make a proper for sale post soon jus thought I'd gauge interest in here first

Put the air cooler thingy on the front of the Montana, not sure if the longer fuel lines will hinder the performance but will fit out tomoz lol Also serviced the rear shocks as they were saggin a fair bit, regreased the rear diff as it was old and hardly any in there and added some washers in the front lower arms, no more play in them now 🤠 and I put the standard wheels back on for now as the spikes were a bit too grippy and kept rolling it today

Hi all I'm looking for someone who knows what RC has a 90mm M4 bolt with nylon nut as I'm lookin to upgrade my hinge pins on the Carson as it uses c clips instead of the nut an bolt, and iv already broken 2 clips jus tryin to remove lol any help would be epic as I'm at a loss so far, closest iv got is a 70mm bolt from a local DIY place but it's a full threaded bolt and not sure if over time it's gona wear through the arms lol

Yea iv seen one on eBay and didn cost anymore than the normal plugs, might keep it in the pack but could jus use it as I don't go to many meeting and jus go to a local park with my brother in law, jus wondered if they had any difference to a normal plug, do look really kewl tho
