Not exactly no, just bought the tires not on rims, they are 2.11x4.10 on the sidewall. Jus need a 60mm mounting diameter rim that's a 17mm hex to fit them onto so I can run them on my buggy, if not il jus bite the bullet an buy 12mm hex rims an run on the carnage lol

Hi all IV bought some proline trencher 2.2s to fit my MT rims but they don't fit.. probably should have checked before ordering lol so does anyone happen to know if there's a 17mm hex rim that has a mounting diameter of 60mm please? As the trenchers have a 60mm mountin diameter and not a 83mm lol could always buy proper tires but already £50 in the hole and would much rather utilise the tires I have instead of buyin more lol any rim that's 17mm hex and 60mm mounting will do as IV got hub extenders on the buggy anyway so fouling the hubs won't be an issue.. hopefully anyway lol any help would be greatly appreciated

Yup been the best one IV used so far, the one that blew was a #3 so mega hot by the looks of it, IV ordered another 8 and a 10 for the summer lol 25% all the way bud, we use it in everything we got, from a rush Evo, to the 5.9 big block lol everything pulls soo much better with it lol

Ah ok buddy, ran a few tanks through it today an thought I goosed the engine jus as I got the tune spot on.. turned out to be the glow plug so swapped it out for my OS #8 and had some crazy speeds out of it 🤠 as for the smoke it wasn't quite as dense as the RTR fuel and smelled a bit sweeter than normal but still had a nice puff comin from the exhaust lol. we use a cheap temp gun and the engine got upto 58.2°c on my pro 21 an brother in law had his hpi 5.9 at 93.7°c not sure why they were soo different but my little Frankenstein build is soo much faster than his, but I am usin a 18t bell an he's on a 14t with a 56t center diff, not sure what my center is but not as big as his tho, he had slightly better acceleration but as soon as my revs were up it caught him and outran him lol an that was with a blown glow plug, gona go back out Thursday weather permitting and try again with a decent glow plug and try and outrun him from the get go lol

Ah okies, do u think it will hurt the motor to run? I only got 2.5L as didn't want to run too much as I think my tunes off ATM but still want to run it.

Hi guys and girls, is there any major difference between the optifuel 25% RTR and there optifuels 25% racefuel? Can only get the racefuel an not the RTR stuff so jus wondering if there any real difference and would it matter if I run a 5l drum and then switch back to RTR stuf, any help would be amazing

Got a brand new thunder Tiger pro 21 engine off my brother in law earlier as the force 3.5 lost all compression and didn take too well to tuning, so gotta fit the pro21 later and set back to factory settings as he's had a mess about with the needles lol, also got a 19t clutch bell to go on so will fit that at the same time 🤠 will update later with the pics of the new parts

took Frank( Montana) out for a rip, demolished a 17t hardened steel bell so jus found a 19t and a 24t clutch bell, gona order them later, engine didn explode jus needed a drastic tune and it smoked like a chimney lol my friend was videoing it so jus waitin for him to send me them so I can post them lol

Same here bud, i have 2 blue bins lol 1 to sit on an 1 with a celebration tub for the RC lol both blue bins have never been used for waste tho, they my work station for when the misses confines me to the kitchen lmao... Joys of living in a 1 bed flat tho 🤦🤣 got a kid on the way so will be moving in a few months and il have a proper space to work on the RCS then 🤠

Well today I managed to turn the Montana into a specter kinda truggy/buggy...thing lol also modified a sx-21 burn room plate to fit the force .21 engine lol gona take it out tomoz an hope it don't explode as it's got more combustion chamber than the standard burn room plate 🤦😂🤣 will video it tho as it's gona be epic if it explodes and pretty naff if it don't 😂🤣 it's got some standard buggy wheels with spiked tires, specter x8 wing mount, cheap eBay wing, Tiger eb4 exhaust and she'll, losi 8ight 3.0 air filter, some unknown trucks brake pads and center diff spur as its got less teeth than the standard. used to run rings around a savage X with big red engine and 3 speed on grass and was completely untouchable on tarmac especially when it's at full speed lol gona order some hub extenders and some smaller wheels soon and if the engine goes bang tomoz I'm gona order a LRP.32 or big red dynamite engine and slap that in there lol

Engines back in an head is tight lol will be takin it out tomoz afternoon so will be videoing it from the moment it starts jus incase it explodes lol but fingers crossed it's fine now lol

Little update on Monty, well cross threaded the glow plug so had to buy a new burn room bit for top of the engine an the new one isn't as deep as the last, meanin there's either gona be very low compression or more room for the explosion which might make it quicker... But my guess is it's gona explode in spectacular style lol will have to video it next time its out as if it does explode it's gona be epic lol

It's the best upgrade u can get for the ftx range imo, u could make it a wide arm buggy by puttin the carnage arms and drive shafts tho if u wanted it a bit more stable, I gave my old arms to my brother in law who won a vantage in a raffle lol looks pretty decent, will try an get some pics next time I'm down his, if she's still got it as he's got soo many RCS it's like a hobby shop in his bedroom (only 14 but very spoilt lol) got 2 savages, xmaxx, 2 tomahawks, fox body slash 2wd, hpi rush Evo, arrma kraton blx, and bits to make all of them last for yrs 🤦😂😂 IV jus got a nitro buggy and a carnage as the misses won't let me spend anymore until IV passed my hgv training lol

IV not got the vantage but I have a fully aluminium upgraded carnage, Chassis, Arms front and rear, Carbon shock towers, Hubs and steerin arms on the front and hubs on there rear, Lower suspension holders, Servo saver and Ackerman, Only things I haven't changed yet is the suspension and top plate but that's because my nitro has taken over all my time, What I will say is if u do the arms then get the chassis as I snapped mine first trip out on Ali arms didn even hit it hard but the shock jus went straight to the chassis and front diff lol the carnage is a bit heavier than standard but still pulls wheelies on 2s and is insanely fast on 3s lol took it out earlier cos the nitro is playin funny buggers ATM and it runs rings aroundy brother in law's xmaxx. Best mods for the carnage/ vantage is the hardened steel RW racing spur an pinion the rest leave plastic as its cheaper to replace

Well really happy with how the Carson is looking 🙂 jus need the wing mount now an it will be a specter/ eb4/ losi 8ight 2.0-4.0 Frankenstein lol It's got losi air filter and pipe. Eb4 exhaust and shell and soon to be wing. Kyosho wheels and proline street fighter tires. 120mm ZD racing front shocks. 140mm ZD racing rear shocks. RW racing 17t clutch bell meant for a hpi savage with aluminium clutch shoes. 7k center diff oil. Standard oil in front and 3k in rear. Fastrax roto start. eBay specials 20kg steering servo. Running ftx carnage receiver and transmitter. Next on the list is specter wing mount, carbon hd brake pads, lower toothed center diff spur gear (brother in law's got a 42t I got my eye on lol) 5.9 force engine, proline trenchers to fit my standard Mt wheels and another set of suspension mounts as these ain't gona last long as IV already rolled it today lol but for now it's lookin epic

Got given a ttr eb4 S3 body earlier, needs a bit of trimmin but will fit an look amazing, was also given a eb4 exhaust and air filter and Jesus its transformed the thing, was gona gear it down but don't need to now with the new bits 🙂 goes much quicker than a savage X with a big red lol will post pics later once IV fitted the new shell

That's one of my biggest concerns about goin brushless, but I'm pretty sure I could find some gears that could work in the future. Iv tried to tell him it will strip gears but as long as it works he's happy to send it 🤦😂 I'm happy to build it for him as it's gona be a wkd little winter project lol

Hi all my friend picked this lil Nikko up a few yrs ago for his kid who has now got a ftx outlaw so he don't use it anymore, our plan is to make it a brushless set up and a crazy drifter lol it's got a Citroen xsara body, think its between a 1/14 and 1/18 scale, found a 2675 brushless setup jus my biggest concern is goin to be settin up the front servo as this has a toy grade servo and we want to run a proper receiver unit and tiny servo lol will upload progress pics as and when I get stuff done to it lol but for now IV added a few pics of it in standard form lol

New fly wheel kit and fly wheel puller turned up today 🤠 jus waitin on the piston locker now so I can fit it all without damaging anything else lol front shocks look really good on it and now I can do the Kevin Talbot drop test an not bottom out lol not sure whether to fiber glass the shell or the shoe glue an dry wall tape
