Got it painted, should have been better as there was a bit of a reaction with the paint. But good enough.

Hi can someone explain the difference between these two motors, am completely new to electrics, seems to be a bit of a minefield , Am in the prosses of converting one of my ic buggies to electric, i would like to get it right first time. Think 4s is probably what i would go for, But 6s would be nice but the cells are a bit on the expensive side.

It arrived. Was going to do it rat rod style, but now having second thought. I have a few different colour paints I could use, am leaning towards a mettalic green. But I also have a few different colour pearl paints. Why is life so difficult. 🤔

Postman delivered the Rat rod shell today. Got it roughly cut out and cleaned the inside.

Think i would rathe buy from someone in the UK, Not sure what sort of warranty you would get with this sort of stuff, The Hobbywing does have some descent reveiws.

I have acquired a HPI Truggy 4.7, going to go electricary with it, Don't know much about electrics, so what we be a good motor + ecs combo, 4s would have enough power, and would keep it in the right budget, also going to fit Rat truck body, want to buy new. want something reliable and easy set up for the combo. How reliable are the nowadays? Never had much to do with electrics, But a few years ago i flew ic Helicopters, there were a couple of guys playing with 6s helicopters, it was quite common to see one on fire. Has the reliability improved over the years, There does seem to be a lot of people going down the electric road. Does anyone on here have any problems the the latest ESCs? I quite like the idea of 1/8th electric, We have a nice quiet cul-de-sac, I could have one i could play with at home.

I quite fancy one of these at the right price, Has anyone got one for sale?

I have had it running slightly rich, to keep temp down, i ordered a temp gauge from Ebay but it was so far out they refunded me for it, i need to get a proper one.

Getting through a few glow plugs since getting the Hyper 7- 8 port motor, Probably a bit of a learning curve, Need to find the right plug for it, Anyone suggest anything that will last, Cheers Del.
