Fitted a new 27T 550 motor to the a959, using the 144001 esc & servo.

hey folks, new to the forum but been into the RC hobby for a number of years, started off with helis to drones and now onto cars, here's a few images of what I currenltly have

Yup these are great little truggies, especially the brushless version, they go at some speed on 3s.

Not got any experience with the Outlaw but the Phantom is a good truck, the brushed motor & esc do burn out on 3s, the front suspension & wheels are pretty weak, snapped a fair few of each part and burned through 2 sets of wheels. That being said, it's still my go to truck, good to change it to brushless, I'm running a 5200kv motor with 120a esc and only had stripped a few spur gears running 6s (not recommended), runs great on 2 & s3. Anyone know if there are stronger steering posts? Snapped the ball mount twice within a short space of time. Cheers
