  1. I got the spare track at last. I think this looks better, more realistic, it works fine, no issues.
  2. Hi, is there any groups on the coast near Lowestoft or Yarmouth? I'm interested in meeting people. I just got my first tank, a Heng long Tiger 1.
  3. Thanks Will, I'll have a look👍
  4. Does anyone know of any RC groups other than aircraft in the Suffolk area? Preferably near Lowestoft/ Yarmouth?
  5. Ok, thanks for your help, I'll keep that in mind and let you know how I get on. I'm still waiting for the extra track to come, think they're coming from China.👍
  6. Yeah true. I'll try one at a time but wouldn't go beyond 2 anyway. I just want it to look more realistic. These are too tight and unrealistic IMHO.
  7. Yes the upgraded version. I sent for some spare links as I think the tracks are too tight, watching videos of real tigers the upper track hangs lower almost resting on the road wheels.
  8. Thanks for your reply bajadre. They seem to be very sensitive. I'll keep at it.
  9. Does anyone have any advice on this? I've had my first tank just over a week and can't seem to get the smoke to work very well. I'm not sure how much oil I should be putting in with the bottle and pipet I got with it, it's hard to see how much I'm putting in and I read that running the unit empty will damage it. I think I flooded it once and tipped the tank on end to drain out the excess oil. should I try using a syringe instead? Is there a particular oil I should use to make more realistic smoke as it seems very lame? When it does smoke it's very thin and week.
  10. Hi, I.m new to the forum. This is my very first RC model, the infamous Tiger 1. I've had it just over a week. I bought some different decals as I didn't like the default ones. I painted the commander.
  11. I've always been fascinated by the Tiger for some reason, it's an awesome tank.
  12. Thank you James, glad to be here. I'd like to try and learn a bit about my new RC hobby.
