  1. Past couple days I’ve received Stampede shell, dry wall tape, shoo goo (arrived today) Typhoon 3s mount and wing. last night I installed wing, a bit of modification with the dremel to make it fit snug. tonight I will reinforce his new shell. i didn’t click send the other day haha. here it is Arrma Granite with reinforced Stampede shell and Typhon 3s wing and mount. next will be TBR front bumper
  2. Ordered Typhoon 3s rear wing and mount for the Granite BLX, also looking for new shell as it’s splitting on second bash on the rear. Was looking at proline bash armour for Stampede but been told these bash armours split easy and are not as good as they are made out to be.
  3. Lads new Granite, my outcast, crud Zombie money pit. Just had new parts denoverws for it aswell before motor went. Serves me right for buying Zombie of Facebook. Was shagged.
  4. Well after looking around at motors for lads crap Zombie we decided to just go and buy another Arrma. So stock is limited at the minute and I can’t find another outcast anywhere we are off to buy him the Granite 3s BLX 4x4 Will buy a cheap motor for zombie and make Vids sending it over the quart ramp sometime in future
  5. Over past few days Lads Zombie has had proline badlands on desperados due to stupid ballooning on crud tyres. few new parts ordered and arrived ready for when stuff breaks. He likes to drive it like I drive the Arrma, hard and fast with serious air. Yesterday he bent an axle, and said he lost power. Axle straightened and all set back up, popped zombie down, whirring noise from motor. all drive train fine. just took motor back out and it’s knackered. Never will I buy of Facebook marketplace again lmao. ive said to him maybe he should think about selling his collection for a new Arrma. he has a brushless lunchbox, Hornet, Midnight pumpkin lowrider and DHK Zombie. oh and we made a quarter pipe to get some air in garden to practise
  6. No more Deans Connectors on my lads Zombie. iC5 now fitted 👌🏻 Such a better connection I think I will order some ic5 for my battery’, they are currently ec5. The Arrma ESC comes already fitted with ic5.
  7. As Stormbringer says balance charge every time is best. And put into storage mode when not in use. If you have charged then not used for couple days check battery on meter and recharge. Try not to leave them fully charged tho. Sometimes it can’t be helped if it decides to rain etc. my batterys are 5000mah so I charge at 5.0amp my sons are 3250 so that’s 3.2amp and 5300map so that’s 5.3amp.
  8. There is where you went wrong. Always charge/check cell voltage. They need to be pretty even across the range. Also storage mode if not in use 3.8v per cell. If you have fully charged and not used for couple days check voltage before use and balance charge. I take it your charger has a meter reader? I’m fairly new to these Lipo myself but done a lot of reading
  9. Curious did you charge it before use or just used it straight from the box. Always check cells on balance meter/meter and charge before first use. If the cells are not around the same say 4.20 4.20 4.19 or 4.18 then balance charge it. I myself took a truck out and didn’t charge one battery. Didn’t press charge lmao. it drained one cell and cut out. Binned it.
  10. Had some broken parts at the end of that day, front bumper broke away from chassis, servo a bit knackered but fixed up. It just went on and on and the jumps go more and more silly 👌🏻
  11. Cheers Acidsnow. RC has always been a hobby from my very first Tandy Jeep back in very early 80’s. As a small child I would have my A-Team figures in it haha here is a couple more, lunchbox is running Brushless and on standard shocks so it’s still very much turn and roll hahah. Excuse the Hornet wheels, lad pinched them to go on hornet as it’s better on grass with sport tuned. Hornets taken a proper beating up but still very much alive!! Some great action shots in the air somewhere. Oh and the lowrider pumpkin, stock bar Go-Pro mount on the top.
  12. This is an issue I’m going to sort this morning, I don’t have a spare so need to get that wire soldered back in. I’ve also ordered iC5 connectors for Doms truck as the deans are just pants.
  13. I wouldn’t want the xtr3e, preferred the single speed. I would have a menace though if the opportunity arose. The xtr just spent all its time on the rear wheels hence the bar across the back to stop it flipping. It was a rapid bit of kit as it was without the extra 2 gears lol
