  3. this might help it goes on about setting the route to adjust the rotational position on channels 1,2,3 and 4.
  4. I now have two dumbo rc 6 channel sets and to be honest at £23:00 a go on ebay with the gyro receiver you wont regret getting one at all. The couple of week wait from china via speedpack free shipping is a bit of a drag but both mine arrived within time and in perfect condition. I honestly haven't found a thing i don't like about these transmitters they are a great piece of gear ie.. 4 AA batteries not eight, 400 to 500 meter range 6 Chanel with drift gyro (just turn the controller ch 6 knob to adjust it from 0 to 100%) easy setup apparently programable channels too (not tried this function) and 3ms response time its a no brainer guys,, Use all the cash you save for other upgrades..
  5. The Df-02 is a good fun buggy iv'e had mine a good few years now and was the first buggy i ever upgraded i love getting it out on the very rare occasion these days but it always puts a smile on my face. i put a piece of 2mm aluminium on the front which i made fit close but not right up against the gearbox casing it just slips under the shock tower and fixes with the gearbox screw to hold it in place there's a small gap behind it like a crumple zone it also keeps that front hinge pin in check i also turned the whole thing silver with gpm parts from asiatees that's quite expensive to do but i don't regret it one bit i just wish there was an alloy chassis available id of probably got that too, The wing is hand made from the same aluminium as the front protection 1 single piece just cut and shaped as per the original plastic wing anyway here's a couple of pic's for inspiration hope they give you a couple of ideas.
  6. all the hsp 94111 parts should fit i got the 8 alloy oil filled adjustable shocks £16 at alexpress.com and tyre and wheel set with foam inserts for £20 the postage takes a couple of weeks to a couple of months so dont be in a rush but save loads of cash also every item in 2 years has arrived i cant quite say the same for ebay these days..
  7. this might fit.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RC-Car-Dual-Bearing-Wheel-Wheelie-Bar-for-HSP-1-10-94108-94111-94188-Model/163770501277?hash=item26217b889d:g:qL8AAOSwVcFdJI7u similar rear bumper to the hsp 94111 mt i bought this one its not too bad if a little fiddly to fit seems to work fine.
  8. if you don't mind the wait aliexpress.com have most hpi spares and upgrades.
  9. Hi Daniel I have the HSP Brontosaurus and for what your describing as usage your about the same driving conditions as me Grass and Tarmac i have found the truck really quick and easy to handle it goes straight and can fly impressively high it corners well in fact i like it so much i have just ordered all the alloy parts that can be bought for it. Some may think that a mistake but i just like the way its going to look in blue alloy all over. also the parts are widely available and when im finished swapping out parts i will effectively have two trucks one alloy one plastic i originally bought my bronto for £120 from Nitrotech the upgrades from all over china will cost at maximum another £140 ish with alloy gearboxes they were expensive at £27 a Pair but the best thing of all will be putting it all together and taking it out for a good ragging around i may ruin a few sets of tires on the carpark...Decisions Decisions I wish you well on your quest and hope my insight helps just a little..😉
  10. thanks very much. you have no idea how long ive been searching the internet to find out lol is it worth fixing up or maybe converting it to brushless or just not worth the expense? any thoughts would help cheers
