Corallys are sure great 6s
What happens when you go 8s and insane with them ?=
?==?===????
one thing is sure now to me.
EXB Kraton 1/8 handles 8s insane bashing very well after you shim and have right oils in all diffs.
This is one Killer now
8s with huge wheels, alot bigger than stock, also 8s,
no problems anymore.
I dont believe Corally make this.
They can send me one car , i can make 8s and huge wheels hard bashing test and film it, if they dare.
EXB Kraton handles it.
Corallys, I dont thing so
Mate, we really don't need the tribalism in these posts.
I'm glad that you like your Arrma's as do many of us, but we have already had a couple of clean outs in this thread due to a load of unnecessary brand bashing.
Just leave it out please. If you want to make a comparison to another brand in the sense of, "I wish Arrma did xxx like Corally do, their system is really good", or something like that, then great. What we don't need is a completely arbitrary divide between people who like one brand over the other. That's really not what this forum is about, if you're really set on behaving like that, then head over the Arrma Maniacs facebook group.

i've been ripping my Granite about recently and have been pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is. Not as fast, and you dont get the same feeling of power as a lot of RC's, but where it lacks in that department, it makes up for in the daft fun factor.
3S the thing is a real weapon.
I can't speak for the MT10, but for sure the 1/10 Arrmas make great little bashers and they're pretty easy to wrench on.

I had an awesome bash today. Set up a ramp and then just sent cars round in circles going over it.
MT410 took a pounding until the bumpers broke, may have also done a bulkhead in as the rear bumper pulled the screws out... hoping longer ones will give it a bit of extra life.
Have to say, I'm actually happier with this thing running a Max 8 than I was the sensored ESC... @m4inbrain was right, but yeah... done with SkyRC for sure.
The stiffener system clearly didnt work... so going to have to try again with that one.
Kraton took a double hard extra pounding but I definitely had it overgeared. Don't know why I was running an 18T on a 1950KV motor 🤦🏼♂️ Should have been ~15T really.
Motor got pretty hot, but it still flew like a bird.
An old stock Arrma arm broke... got lolads of spares though. I think this might have been one that came on the car originally, as I have been using RPM for most of it's life.
POS wing mount is an absolute boss though. There is no exaggeration when I recommend this guys parts, they really are excellent. Took everything I threw at it while all the other Arrma parts around it disintegrated... damn wheelie bar is useless anyway.
Granite was a good laugh too, and I didnt break it... but my mate did 😄
just a rod end though, no big deal there.
I did take some videos, so I have a bit of editing to do, but I'm rusty on that front having not touched any software for years

I agree with Brian on the topic of the bulkheads... I'm struggling to think of anyone who has installed the Vitavon parts without removing them a couple of bashes later. People are often very loud about putting the shiney parts on, but quiet about taking them off... but I notice 😉
The hubs... not too sure... I don't actually have any issue with the stock ones though. I do use the Hot Racing pillow ball nuts though, not sure if that has done me any favours.
Alloy centre diff mount I would say is worth it. The V4 and V5 and EXB parts are the same version with a slot in the top that the diff slides in. I actually thought the EXB was alloy there already but I guess not... not a huge difference to the upgrade but it's also not super expensive:https://badtouchbreakers.com/collections/kraton-6s/products/arrma-v4-6s-blx-differential-mount
Will work fine.

My bumper stiffeners didnt work haha... bumper completely destroyed, although this was the original one that came with the car and has already been through the wars... but I will tweak it more before I send it along 😄
The concept I think is solid, I just havent but the bracing in the right spot.
I'll upload some vids + pics later

I'm going back to the workshop today (also in Yorkshire) to set up a ramp and break all my remaining running cars. 😄

Did you open the motor up to be extra sure
No, I didn't. I hooked up the Max 8 to it and it runs fine on the bench though.Really CBA to open the damn thing up... I do actually have a spare Stator for it but... sigh... no...

Not the most successful bash.
Breeze block holding up the ramp - 1... tekno ET410 - 0Looks like just the arm went though. Not the worst thing in the world... well it wouldnt be if I didnt have to tgo to RPRC to buy a replacement... I always end up significantly poorer than before I went onto the site when I buy stuff from there.
The MT410 also failed me, the ESC went pop. It was strange, ran fine, did a jump, then it was cogging so I took the shell off and checking nothing was stuck in the drive line. It seemed clear so I gave it a blip and POP... 1 SkyRC ESC down.
Not sure if there is perhaps something wrong with the motor, it siezed up and then the ESC drew too much current... unless that is the case, I'm done with SkyRC, thats the second of their ESCs which has gone pop for seemingly no reason.
Got a Max8 and a Max 6 I can put in there so will be fine for the moment, even if I do really like running it sensored.
Edit - The motor is absolutely fine, so yeah SKYRC can do one with their garbage ESCs.- 1

@.AJ. - Made some "stiffeners" (I think the name needs work) for the MT bumpers. I havent tested them yet, and I'm hoping these will work as is, but I have an idea to improve them if I have to do more.
They're basically just a soft plastic (TPU) and so they're still bouncy, just not excessively so. They should still absorb energy but should stop the plastic over extending and breaking.- 5

I’ve gone past worrying about what it looks like, I just want it to last longer than 5 bash’s 😂😂😂
Here is mine, hopefully you can kinda see what I mean about getting paint into the scuffs and the stickers staying on... as you can see it has been bashed and most of the stickers survived.
If you just try and pain the raw plastic... it just flakes off, as you can see, but where it's scuffed up it sorta works and ends up looking like it's meant to be that way.
I have a Kyosho FOXX body that I plan to make work on this car, but I'm honestly alright with how this looks. -

I actually thought the unbreakabales were polyethylene based... same issue with paint and stickers.
I did get stickers to stay on my unbreakable bodies, just have to heat them up a bit and really push them on, there was a sticker set that came from America that worked. They were super thick.
In terms of making them look less crap, you just have to accept that they will will never look like a pristine scale car, and as they get scuffed up you can get paint into the scuffs to make it look "weathered". The metallic paint pen that I used on my "desert militia" one worked ok.

I have a load of those teathered body pins, they really are top. My only advice would be to give them another crimp if you have the tool, as it can come loose.
All I did today was try and make some inserts for the MT410 bumper, which didnt really work... V2 printing as I type. I also did some minor maintenence on my daughters Maverick ION (heavily modded).
Just put a bigger motor in (3600KV up from 3000KV, still relatively tame) and sorted out the servo arm which was slipping. If that slips again, I think it will need a new one.

Body posts and bumper breaking seems like a fairly good trade off. Easy to replace and not too expensive. All in all, successfull bashing 👍

Finished the paint job on the Power Wagon... just need to sort out the body posts now. Going to design and print everything that this truck needs.
Nothing fancy here, I'm not a big time scale truck dude, I just gave it a light dusting of a light green, then a good thick coat of racing green (it's what I had) to give it a bit of texture rather than it being a completely flat dark green.
Kinda tempted to do a wood effect on the inside of the bed as I think it would look cool... but it's a lot of effort 😄- 5

Thanks mate. I'm really getting that particular material dialled in. It's as much the filament as it is me, really top notch stuff 👍
