  1. Thank you! I'll get a fan on it before I go anywhere else and possibly a larger pinion or a different motor? What kind of kv do you suggest or have on your own?
  2. I have recently had my 5sc super flux on 6s and the motor is getting awfully hot. It's using a 13t pinion with standard everything for the electronics. What's my best way of keeping it cool? I can run a fan from the receiver or I have seen fans spliced into the battery cables like on aftermarket X-maxx fans. I'm new to large scale and I dont know what would have enough effect. Thank you.
  3. If you're looking for out of the box performance, I'm not qualified to comment on it (I've no idea) but if you want the best performance possible in all areas, you'll need to build something. A lot of people will start with something like an Xray T4 touring car chassis because it has excellent adjustability in every way, is super robust but very light weight. This takes a fair bit of chassis modification, covering up the internals and belts to stop them eating themselves alive. What's been doing incredibly well in Czech rally championships is the use of 4wd 1/10 buggy chassis shortened and modified for it. It's all the handling characteristics you want but in a constantly updated, race-spec package. Take a look at TUX racing and their kit for the Xray XB4. If you want the best performance, an xb4 chassis and that kit is the best you're going to get.
  4. Pteppic, that's the website I found too.
  5. Note: Changing google results to Czech and country of origin to Czech Republic makes quite a difference. A few websites.
  6. That's a big help, thanks. Seems as though the best thing to do to get an s2000 or r5 body is go back to the Czech Republic, so I aught to. I'll make sure what wheelbase bodies I can lay my hands on before deciding on a chassis. I was surprised that I couldn't seem to find any Skoda bodies for sale yet they were all over the rc rally scene. Guess you've got to know where to go. Big ol' thanks, I'll see what's can do.
  7. Hi, I seem to be struggling to find where to buy Skoda body shells, especially the Fabia Mk2 and Mk3. Does anyone know where I could find 1:10 Fabia Mk3 R5 or Mk2 body shells? I plan to install these on an X-ray XB4 as that's what I've heard works well with these bodies and is an all around good chassis. Thanks.
