  1. That’s huge! looks impressive buddy, cheers for the pics
  2. Just seems a lot of money tbf, I’m liking the Kraton atm, very impressed
  3. Is it really twice as good though? Quicker? Stronger? pity arrma don't do a 1/5th scale kraton!
  4. Just seen these, yes the arrma Kraton v3, very impressive little truck, handles the grass with no issues, on the first day or two we set up a jump with the aid of a forklift, it was going pretty high tbf, no real damage. Can’t believe how tough this thing is, and it’s fairly quick. Far supper to my old monster beetle and cat 98. Think I might get the talion next, sod paying 1k for the big traxxas lol. thanks for the advice all, much appreciated
  5. Perfect many thanks It wheelies enough as it is tbh
  6. Is that the one at Marks tey, i've seen the sign for it near the round about? Is it anything to do with A1 ?
  7. I have had a look on the forum but i'm a little more confused than I was before! Which diff oil(s) should I use in the Rear, Centre and Front diffs? Which grease should i use on the out gears of each diff? Thanks in advance.
  8. Well, it arrived Friday, I rather impressed at how tough it is, it took a lot of punishment and only received minor injuries! In the end we had a make shift ramp with the help of a forklift! Great little model. Are there any others which are can take similar amounts of punishment, jumps, flips , very hard landings etc. I fancy getting a spare.
  9. Anybody know of anywhere to go near Braintree?
  10. Because other than the airstrips most of the fields are long grass most of the time
  11. I have just ordered a Kraton V3 and wanted to know what is the longest battery you can fit in one? I have seen two different measurements "Battery tray dimensions (LxWxH): 157x51x71 mm" and "165x51x48mm / 6.5x2.01x1.89"". I have 14 x Optipower 6 5000 and was hoping to use them, but they are showing a length of 162mm, if not I have 8 of these which look like they should fit. Thanks in advance
  12. After watching a many many videos, I made a slight change in direction and with the Arrma Kraton, it looks like a lot of fun and for less than half the price of the X Maxx it seems like a good deal, probably not great in the long grass as mentioned BUT it does look like a a lot of fun. I do have access to a rather large "Tabletop" so that could be interesting!!! I guess I will find out how durable it really is!
  13. One of these was recommended earlier but I would prefer electric so didn't pay it much attention. How quick would something like this be? I have used a King Motor 30cc 2wd buggy before and its not particularly fast, I've used a 1/8 electric and it was like a rocket! I'm guessing cars have the same issues as helis and planes, electric is for powerful and its instant power!!! I have enquired about a couple of Traxxas X Max's which seem to fit the bill, just have to wait an see.
  14. The kraton has come up a lot in my searches, what’s the difference between that and the talion?
