  3. Hi - cudos on creating a nice little project like this, my son has high functioning non verbal autism, and some of the kids in his school would love something like this! and so would he! great idea on the seat & seat belts also just get it padded up, If there is anything I can help with pm me, I don't have much in 12v experience except for my 12v driven rc boat with a brushed motor. but I have the following I am happy to donate to the cause, would like to see liaison about the project. Spektrum receiver - mainly 6 channel Spektrum satellite receiver if need be EC3 & EC5 connectors (let me know about the wiring you're using) Deans connectors its not much if it helps let me know.

  6. For a very very reluctant sale is my Evo, got it off this forum not too long ago and as per post I got it from was only used for a few practice runs, only used 3 times since, it has brand new turnigy servos installed (these are not race spec servos), brand new on/off switch (the original had broken lugs for screw attachment) I have x2 brand new unopened glow plugs, x2 sets of wheels and rims, starter box with lipo, battery for receiver power, AR6100 receiver if you have a Spektrum setup, half bottle of race fuel, and bag of spare parts. Only reason for sale, I need to get my SV650N some spare parts! looking for £180 ovno, collection only. If you want posting, its at buyers expense and risk.
  7. http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php here's a link to their website, just create an account and you're sorted, your first five posts you will have to answer about 5 questions after each post, but it will get your boat in the for sales section. mostly on the site they do scale stuff, like tugs, battleships etc... and excellent advice on boat building. but you never know there might be someone on there looking for a race boat..good luck.
  8. would you sell the flybarless conversion kit separate?
  9. awesome to try these things out lol!! sounds like loads of fun, might try something like this on my MX2 foamie, just tired of constant repair bills on helis!! have you tried an uprated BEC at all?
  10. Hi All just thought I would do an intro, I've been on here a few days now trawling through the site. I had x3 Tamiya dune buggies about 15 years ago (maybe longer ) currently I do CP helicopters from 450 to 600 size, fixed wings nitro & electric, rc tanks and rc electric boats, mainly in scale. So I thought it time to add a buggy/truck to my collection, also to try get my son involved in rc kit (he is 10 yrs young). Pretty unsure now on what to get, I was set on an electric buggy of some sorts, but after looking through this forum am also interested in nitro setups, we have a local track that I can go to and play/bash. So hopefully I will have something soon to play around with. any tips/tricks on what to stay away from, or what to get as a second 'intro' to rc buggies is welcome. cheers Andy
