A brace of JP 480's for the Jagdtiger, already tested and fitted Probably as big as you can go without a whole new transmission, that'll come later
-
Jagdtiger tracks? Very similar to mine. They'll add loads of low down weigh, lovely:)

Finally...........thanks to Tony ( the postie), i have in my possession an item which for me at least has reached mythical status. I am of course talking about this ----> The TLR Ten SCTE front top brace! Is there anything more gorgeous?
-
I have exactly the same issue, but for me i dont think buying yet another rig could ever be a waste of money, probably:)
-
Finally there's some UK stock, who's getting one? As my luck would have it the kitty's empty at the moment:( Definitely going to score one next payday
-
yeah bud i had checked that source out, but having being stung a few times with US/UK customs duty charges i didnt want to risk it again

Still waiting for the elusive TLR scte aluminium top brace...

Proline desert raid SCT body
Max Power. replied to Max Power.'s topic in Short Course & Desert Trucks
Ha ha ha I'd love to say that i got it from the settings on a hair dryer, but i think Homer Simpson got it from that first I'm thinking that it will still be a good performer, the 22 chassis will (i think) soak up a lot of the height related body roll. I'll have to wait and see -

Yeah decals, transfers and stickers The ride height yeah thats something i'll have to experiment with as this body type on an sct is a bit of an unknown for me, but i've left lots of room for adjustment. I've cut all the airflow holes that i can see, I'll possibly make more. Very interested to see how it handles -
Proline desert raid SCT body

Decided to do it the same as my original 22 sct body, white. Body mounts adjusted and set - I'll maybe adjust the height but plenty of room in the flared arches, help keep scrubbing to a minimum Next job is cutting round the window masking to paint the window trims. I'm going to keep the body work relatively decal free, -
Proline desert raid SCT body

As advertised it states that its mainly for Traxxis slash..... But i've found out with a few "Traxxis only" items that its very much compatible with Losi after some really minor modification (Streetfighter wheels is another) So its just had a quick cut out and offered onto the 22 sct chassis, looks good so far doesnt it? Wheelbase is perfect. Theres plenty of cool body holes to dremel out for air flow Needs nothing more than some long body mounts, the proline desert raid IS losi compatible tòo -
Yeah i noticed that bud, the tarr is just a fraction smaller there

Nice find bud, the dimensions are quite close to what i need for the losi 22. And at that price it wont matter if theres a little trimming if needed I'm looking forward to getting the Proline body started, wheelspin sent it out today I'll post a few progress pics -
Those little tarr smoke units are brilliant, i have one in most of my tanks

So i was looking for something different on one of my sct's, a step away from the obligatory sct truck body. I had a look around to see if anyone was doing a Bowler Wildcat but found a couple of Proline's that i thought had some potential. I was going to get the 1981 Bronco but couldnt see any UK stock so ended up getting the Proline desert raid. I'd be really interested to see the other SCT body options that your all using I thought the wide flared arches would look awesome on an SCT. I recon that looks pretty close to a Bowler

Damn your Vorsa looks good

After MUCH and i mean MUCH searching I have managed to track down a TLR 22 SCTE top chassis brace in aluminium. Its in transit at the moment so hopefully the postie will hand it over in couple of days. I'll definitely post a pic of the mythical part. I am pretty sure that hens teeth occur with a greater frequency than the TLR 22 SCTE top chassis brace

Perfect job for the mighty Dremel

The postie* is in the process of bringing me an RX8/T8 combo. It was a toss up between an Axial Wraith rock racer kit or new electronics for the 22 ten scte. Soon decided i cant not have all that power in my life (*technically DPD not the postie)

They seem to do that quite often. I mostly use spinny wheel for that reason
-
Very true bud, you cannot beat a Dremel, especially when equipped with the thin diamond dust cutting discs. The best cure for stripped screws
-
nice one thanks
